VEMIA Auction

Update: Looks like, Brian Eno's DX7 went for 2000 ukp and the Jellinghaus DX7 programmer for 1500 ukp.

Auction is on now. Runs from Nov 5 to this Saturday, Nov 12. Title link takes you there. Once there, click on the VEMIA link with the auction hammer on the left. There is a spreadsheet you can download. I found it easier to browse searching for "synth" when open. There's a Synthi in there amongst other goodies. : )

Update via the comment:

"HOLY SHIT HOLY SHIT HOLY SHIT! BRIAN ENO'S PERSONAL DX7 AND PROGRAMMER ARE FOR SALE!"

Doh, I probably should have mentioned that. Sorry. : ) Oh and yes, that is Dave's Packrat in the commic.

The Lego Harpsichord

Fully functional harpsichord made out of Legos. Amazing. Title link takes you there; included more detailed shots, samples and the story. Via Lez Mizzell on SynthSights.

Yamaha MO

Mo of everything. : )

MiniMusic BeatPad Update

Via Create Digital Music. I have BeatPad along with the other MiniMusic products. It a great product and a blast to play. I run it into my TR-909 and out to any other given synth. Sequence heaven.

"BeatPad is a pattern based sequencer. It provides a simple yet powerful interface for creating musical patterns of various instruments or drum kits, layering these patterns, and performing them on your handheld or exporting them to your desktop/laptop. Using the Palm Platform's large touch sensitive screen, it is easy to see every aspect of a pattern at once and manipulate it with the stylus."

When a 2600, Mini, A6 and P-10 get together

Heath Finnie posted a track including an ARP 2600, Moog Minimoog, Andromeda A6 and an SCI Prophet 10 on VSE. Yowsa! Title link takes you to there.

Moogerfooger - New Flickr Shots

Nice Moog Moogefooger shot. Some other gear shots after the hop.

Akai AX-60 Page

Akai AX-60 added to Sealed's Deep Synthesis Page. This one was added by Architecture. Includes info and samples.

Update: Architecture via the comments:
"Gotta give your synth some props when no one else is. I hope I can convince some people of just what awesome things this thing is capable of. By the way, all the samples were done by hand, no sequencing what so ever."

So true. The AX-60 is a great sounding and seriously underated synth. My jaw drops when I see them come up for for under $300. Mine is the Matrix-6. I think both are finally getting some of the recognition they deserve.
