"I just made a demonstration piece of the Roland Alpha Juno 1 and the MKS-50 (wich is the same engine). All sounds come from these machines. Only effects: Delay, auto-pan and reverb. I used a sampler without transforming the original sounds. I think the Alpha Juno is one of the most underrated analog synths on the market now and it sounds really good."

Beatburner Free
"Windows is getting enough instrument and effect madness for free to make your head spin — a lot of it previously commercial software. Here’s the latest addition: Beatburner, a looping sampler combined with a wave shaper and enveloped filter. In short, Beatburner takes your loops and makes them into sonic insanity. I’ve been playing with it a bit this evening, and making things sound … well, scary."

Little Phatty® Stage II
"Moog continues to innovate and fuse uncompromising sound quality and craftsmanship with new technology. The Little Phatty Stage II puts the performer in control of a 100% analog signal path with Real Analog Control (RACTM), two ultra stable Voltage Controlled Oscillators and one Voltage Controlled Filter among other versatile features like CV inputs, KB gate and a full MIDI controller.
The addition of MIDI over USB make this sound sculpting tool even more powerful. Combined with its warm analog sound, ability to process external audio and its intuitive performance, sound design and control features, the Stage II makes a great addition to any rig... from full-on analog, to the perfect companion to your favorite laptop/softsynth setup. You can also connect it directly to you computer running the Little Phatty Editor/Librarian.
MIDI Clock Sync allows you to synchronize the LFO rate to your MIDI sequencer, drum machine or software. Sample and hold, triangle, square, sawtooth and ramp wave modulations can now be perfectly timed with your rhythm track.
The new Arpeggiator is a great new performance feature with applications for musicians in all genres. It's wide variety of uses is sure to find a place in your style and of course, it also syncs to MIDI clock.
The distinctive new black finish is a real eye-catcher that emphasizes the unique new nature of the Little Phatty Stage II."

RAB 20 - Donkey's New Keyboard Rig in Action
Remember Donkey's new keyboard rig? The episode is up. You can watch it here [not safe at all]. For those of you not familiar with RAB, it's from Dave of umop who brought us such gems as The Packrat, Parallax and the art for Metasonix, as well as these videos.
And..lf you haven't guessed it already, RAB is NEVER safe for work, never safe for anything. You will repent. If you are easily, or even difficult to be offended, do not watch it. Consider yourself warned.
