"First demo video of the effects of the Teaspoon by The Squarewave Parade. Here we have some XBase09SE drums, followed by some Flame Talking Synth, followed by more XBase drums (bitcrushed) all going through and being cut and looped with the trigger control (right momentary button). The left knob I'm tweaking controls the length of the sample+hold. Arguably the most fun to play two-handed effects box I own. I think though you have to have a little better sense of rhythm than what I display here..."

If you build DIY electronics projects and want something a bit nicer than an ugly, unfinished looking plastic or aluminum box to put knobs/buttons on and electronics inside, then pictured below is a nice wooden frame. It fits a 10.5" by 7.75" piece of metal or whatever material your panel will be. See pictures below. Note that my router took a small chip out of the upper left corner as barely seen in the bottom image in the first picture below. Only held together by wood screws, so it can be taken apart and a refinished or laquered up for a glossy shine if one desires. $20 plus $7 postage for the lower 48 states, Paypal." More images here.

"Custom soft padded case is included with the pedals. Other custom features. Include the white back plate. It is removable but quite handy for those dark. Stages...and if you get into the fancy foot work it makes the pedals easier to see. Does not effect the sound. There is also a light that is removable for storage. This makes seeing the sliders easier."

"Evening all!
Thanks for stopping by. Here's a little track that I made in a spare couple of hours today. It's a rolling techno number with a bit of melody chucked in for good measure.

The setup is as follows: all sequencing is done on the 909 (no computer is used in this track apart from compression/recording), the Virus is running into the audio-in of the 909 for effecting and the whole output is running into my soundcard for DSP compression.

Everything non-percussive is from the Virus, everything percussive is from the 909. Hope you like it...as always it's just for fun. :-)

Analogue Systems EMS Synthi Trapazoid Generator

"One use of the RS-510E...
Here I use it as a filter sweep for the PlanB Model 11 and to trigger a Model 10 Env Generator and a Doepfer A-141 VCADSR. When I invert the env output on the trapazoid generator, timings end up changing too, but never going out of time, just kind of being flipped in time. After your ears get used to one rhythm, the inverse envelope sounds almost in reverse, I think it's the filter flipping doing that to my perception. Whatever it is, it's kinda cool. I think I may get the filter too, to get that babytalk filter going with the envelope. Bababababa.... The Cwejman mixer is handling all the stereo panning from LFOs and evnelopes."

"it's my top secret Roland prototype X-106... Actuually it's a chopped Juno 106 that plays thru midi. I did that custom work a couple of years ago and it works fine."

"I had in mind to use a smaller part of the kbd but it was too much work at the time, I still have it saved so maybe... The main problem when keeping the keyboard is to find a space for one of the circuit bords that I put under that panel. The only way to do this is to make a new box form of base plate that would extend it downwards.

As I recall it I made two L-shaped mounts to fasten the sides to the main panel. I got some more pics I believe...

My main concern was heat as you put two circuit bords on top of each other, but it works fine as is..."
