The Axolotl

"The axolotl is an analog synth noisebox made for demanding sound-designers and noise musicians. A dove with epilepsy? A woodpecker under acids? 56 kbps modem connected to an owl? Passing through the underground tunnel crammed with frogs? All of this is in the axolotl! And more... based on an innovating synthesis made from logical circuits, the Axolotl gets 6 controls: Low Freq osc 1 High Freq Osc 2 Intermodulating Low Freq / High Freq Modulating AM/FM amplitude Modulating AM/FM freq And a unique global Hysteresis control! The sound character of the synth will change drastically by turning a simple pot!"

"The [above] performance has been transmited live on a radio (KKWNE) few days ago. For the people interested by a good sound, there's a nice record of the show:

  1. Made me think of the Thingamagoop optically controlled analog synth. The one I have in the closet. And have just listed on Ebay. You don't have to pay $120 at Bleep Labs, just find item number 130303526008 and bid on it. Good luck.
