korg EMX-1 stripped & reversed. (Set)

"Easy Off oven cleaner plus steel wool gets rid of the blue that hurts my eyes.

remove knobs.
remove faceplate with a 2mm allen wrench.
spray with oven cleaner. rinse/repeat.
use steel wool to remove white lettering and reveal reversed blue lettering."

  2. Hi Dan.....did you use the yellow EASY OFF ? Can you tell me your EMX serial number ? Mine is 007441 - maybe starting from some series they have changed the color thats why my EASY OFF did not work. But mine was the fume free version (the blue can) - probably it must be really the yellow one. I got now one from Italy and will try the next days again.

  3. i was still on the edge with this ine after seeing it on the korg forums, but now it's official, mine is also going the silver way (wonder if the KP3 casing could use the same treatment(my ER1MKIi will surely be a silver on etoo)
