The Bravery: Slow Poison

The Bravery: Slow Poison from James White on Vimeo.

"What happens when the Universe is revealed to you in a single moment, filling you with love, desire, hope, fear, despair, longing, and complete joy? When the full range of human emotion is suddenly conveyed, then gone just as quickly…

With a four week production schedule and a love song of sorts, Buck travelled back in time to the late seventies and joined a cult of psychonauts to make a video about alien panther love, ontology, and inter-dimensional space travel.

Video by Buck. Check out the video on their website. Also check out The Bravery."

Spot the synths. I spy an orange and black ARP 2600 and Access Virus Polar to start.

  1. what's with all these "indie" bands showing off synths but all you hear is a lowpassed square at best. =(

  3. @ veqtor - sometimes you have synth in your setup that you don't hear at every moment in every song :)

although this band certainly cares how they look.

  4. The 4-voice and the 2600 were rented by the band specifically for that shoot from a friend of mine here in Atlanta. I understand that the keyboardist only travels with two Viruses and a Voyager.

but it looked cool in the video, eh?

  5. Glad to see the Bravery with something new. In their old videos and TV appearances, they always had a Prophet 5.
