UNIVOX Mini Korg K2 700s Classic Analog Synthesizer

via this auction

"What a simple synth. Dedicated sliders for both low and high pass filters (called Travelers)2 sliders for ADSR and a switch for each separate effect. Quickly change octaves or waveforms with the 2 large knobs. The only thing that may confuse people at first is the uncommon names Korg gave each effect. Things such as Attack, Decay, Sustain, Release are called Percussion and Singing. It may take some getting used to.

Kinda went over it's main features above. However, it has a few other interesting features including:
Repeater - repeats the note based on the speed slider, very good for bubbly and strange sfx
Bender - pitch bend at the beginning of each note played
Expand - which allows the envelopes to effect the filter
Bright - which adds more resonance to the filter
Portamento

Vintage 1974 instrument with nothing besides audio output

Breathtaking in a lot of ways. Very buzzy and raw. Smooth leads, harsh gurgly basses, repetitive sfx, clarinet, nintendo-like sound are capable. The Cure used this synth in thier early days (Seventeen Seconds era) along with bands like The Cars (the smooth lead in "Just What I needed" for example) and Japanese musician Tomita swears by it's leads."
