MakeNoise Double Brains x 3 Pressure Points Angry Mess!

MakeNoise Double Brains x 3 Pressure Points Angry Mess! from Richard Devine on Vimeo.

"Here is a test that I just did quickly with two MakeNoise Brains, and three Pressure points. All clocked with the Doepfer A-160, to the Tiptop Z8000, STG Graphic Sequencer, and others. Making the modular sound like a glitch out broken machine."

via Wikipedia: "Musicor Records was a New York City based record label, active during the 1960s and 1970s. The label was founded by songwriter Aaron Schroeder and distributed by United Artists Records. In 1965, UA employee and A&R man Art Talmadge (a co-founder of Mercury Records years earlier) started his own Talmadge Productions company and, along with fellow UA employee/A&R man Harold "Pappy" Daily, bought the Musicor label from UA.

Korg microSTATION - guitar preset 1-49 HQ

YouTube via triumphthruxton | August 27, 2010

"Guitar preset 1 to 49, Korg microSTATION is a new workstation from Korg. I just got the first shipment to Europe and I have had the Korg M3 and the Korg M50 Workstation before. This is a light weight 2.5 kg/ 6lbs workstation/synthesizer with amazing sounds and a built in sequencer.

Pros: portabel and easy to use, amazing sounds from the bigger M3 series, sequencer, great software editor

Cons: mini keys, small LCD display

Everything recorder with a Korg SR1 Sound On Sound field recorder.

You can make a 16 channel song with drums, bass lines, leads, pads and so on. Use up to 5 effects and master effects and then save your work to a SD card. With the USB connection it can act as an VST in your DAW like Cubase, Logic, Live. Since I use it in a studio it is very easy to just put it in a bag and use it both at home and in the studio. I initially bought the Korg M50 but 7 kg/15 lbs was bulky since I also play bass guitar and use Cubase on my laptop, impossible to get all that equipment on the metro."

Body In The Thames - Io ( Roland Jupiter 6 )

YouTube via bodyinthethames | June 09, 2010

"Body In The Thames - Io

I bought a Roland Jupiter 6

This is the first track I made with it (December 2009)

All the sounds are from the Jupiter 6 with the exception of 1 kick drum sound and 1 snare drum sound

The tonal kick, the LFO'd snare and the 'hats' and little clicks are all done on the Jupiter

Doesn't it sound nice!?!

"Here's the way cool, totally analog JP6. This little piece was performed entirely on the unit pictured, with only a little delay help from Garageband. The song is called "Six on Jupiter". Forgive me...I was weak."

Ensoniq Mirage Sound Demo

YouTube via farmyfarm | September 02, 2008

"This demo uploaded louder than my original, PLEASE ADJUST YOUR VOLUME ACCORDINGLY!!This demo contains sounds from a single Mirage DSK-8. (This was the original Mirage with the horrible Pratt/Whitney keyboard, but a superior all metal case.) There is a minimum of fx applied to the demo. It's ran COMPLETELY thru the Mirage, using the sequencer expander cartridge on the DSK's ONE track sequencer. An external Arppegiator was used. That it! Enjoy...."

Midnight Express, Casio SK 5

YouTube via farmyfarm | April 15, 2009

"The poor Casio SK-5 just doesn't get played on You Tube the way it was intended. I dont mind circuit bending mind you, I just thought I'd put up a vid that showcases the SK in all its intended. cheezy glory. This is a real quick demo doing a speedy rendition of Moroders' Midnight Express theme. Enjoy."

Cover song Depeche Mode To Have and to hold

YouTube via farmyfarm | September 23, 2009

"I always liked this particular DM song...It was kinda dark and perhaps gave us all a glimpse of the darker side of DM's music that was yet to come. Obviously, I sampled some of it. But not as much as you would think. The drums came directly from an an E-MU Emulator 2 sound library that I sampled into my ESI-32. The rest was sampled directly to the ESI. It's just my take on the song. Not quite an exact replica but definetly NOT some of the crap covers I saw."

Jupiter 6 demo.wmv

YouTube via farmyfarm | June 01, 2010

"Just a freestyle demo done in real time on my Jupiter-6. Using the synths ability to play 2 simultaneous arp patterns on the upper/lower while playing in a 2/4 split with a custom bass patch on the lower and a bell-like patch on the upper. The lead line was the only overdub done..this was recorded directly into an old school MSQ-100 sequencer. Only a slight delay was used on the recording. I also showcase the many abilities of the synth to manipulate a patch through extensive use of the resonant filter. This multi-mode filter is able to filter BP, HP, LP signals while still being able resonate. Alot of fun to play...Thanks for watching"

Roland RS 505 ANALOG paraphonic string synth

via this auction

"Roland RS 505 , the ultimate analogue string synthesizer . Separate bass , synth section and of course strings give you a much wider palette of sound from which to create some wonderfully thick and rich classic analog sounds and very big bass sound! Comes with the fantastic sounding roland ensemble effect (stereo output) based on roland's dimension D chorus rack. External input enables you to plug in any instrument and use this great effect."

YAMAHA SS 30

via this auction
"A chunky (its heavy, 20kg!!) wood veneered string synth from the 70's. Its a dedicated string synth with all the control needed to make those 70's string sounds. It really has a rich and lush sound , wonderfully simple and effective controls.
This example is 100% working and cosmetically in excellent condition except for some small chips to the veneer.

Control section running from left to right pitch/ detune - The outer pot adjusts the overall tuning and the inner pot detunes the voices against the pitch which can produce a wonderful thickening effect ( some sources describe this synth as a duphonic/ multiphonic ,others describe it as a 4 voice polyphonic. It uses divide down chips enabling all keys to be played at once)

Orchestra -Depth ( Speed 1/2 ,cello ,violin ) A great ensemble effect with 2 different effect types (speed) and the ability to separate the effect between cello and violin ( so you can have ,for example cello effect and violins dry )

Vibrato ,Delay/Depth- Very nice vibrato effect.

Sustain, Cello /Violin - sustain 1 control each for cello and violin giving again the ability to have separate amount of sustain for cello and violin sections . Very short to very long .

Keyboard split 0/1/2/3 .0 setting is no split and just the violin sound over the whole range. 1 gives a split with the lowest octave for cellos the rest strings. 2 setting gives 1 and a half octaves to the cello . 3 gives 2 octaves to the cello. The splits are indicated by a white dot above the note on the control panel
Cello ,Volume, attack/slow ,cello1/cello2 - control section for cellos giving control over attack fast/slow. Choice of 2 cello sounds.

Violin Attack/Slow, Viola/violin1/Violin2 /Volume - Same as cello control section though the volume is at the far right.

Brilliance Cello/Violin Very usable low pass filter for cello and violin."

YouTube via michaelv315 | January 19, 2010

"This is where I draw the line,

I've tried to create some "acoustic" samples, and it worked out pretty well. Some flutes, pianos, brass and offcourse hardcore electronics. How I like e'm. I really hope you like it to, because I needed to sacifise some pretty awesome patterns to create this.

My memory is getting full and I think I can save no more then 2 tracks now. And one is allmost finished.

Pleae be so kind and comment, or just subscribe;)

See you......................KOCKENGEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

P.S: I don't think I need to explain that the reverb effect was made by my KMP. Just incase, before people say that this is FAKE. Well its not, you know me:P"
