"What's a four oscillator MiniMoog sound like? Didn't you always want to know? Then check this out. The FreqBox oscillator tracks quite well and has the same continuous wave form selection knob that the Voyager does. And it has sync and that works cool with overdriving the input of the Mini.

JJfader

YouTube Uploaded by cha0smoon on Jan 31, 2011

"An 'old school' midi controller with 8 faders and 5-pin din connector. Inspired by the last JJOSXL releases i decided to build a compact no nonsense controller for my MPC1000. Built around an ATmega328 you could call it an Arduino standalone. It uses a 4051 multiplexer to allow for 8 inputs. I added a second DC power connector so i can piggy back the controllers power(consumtion is very low) off an adapter for other small gear. It has a voltage regulator and can handle something like 7-15 volts input. This is a rough tryout using Goldbaby's MPC60/TR-707 samples."

Modded Oberheim 2-Voice

via this auction

"It has an internal modification that allows both SEMs to be controlled with it's sole CV and Gate Input. Two SEMs rather than! There's really nothing like it's multimode filter layered with another. Both SEMs have another "reversible" mod that gives them a faster LFO. The stock LFO speed was pretty slow. These LFOs get fast! Think frequency modulation! Lastly, it has blue LEDs. Yippy!"

Memories came across

YouTube Uploaded by skoulaman on May 23, 2011

"Well Youtubers a new vid partially me playing and a traintravel, thats the memory. I did this because the camera wasn't placed very good and watching me only playing the keys can be boring.
It started with the low strings of the Korg lambda, the bells from the Yamaha DX27 and CX5m and then the lead of the Roland juno 106. Seqeunce pattern performed with the Doepfer dark time who controls the Moog little phatty and the Waldorf micro Q. Another pad came from the Kawai K1R in combination with a slow string from the Kurzweil micro piano. Again a lot of echo's and reverbs from both analog and digital.

Tha train in this vid is a steamtrain in from Bäretswil to Bauma im Tösstall run by the DVZO in Züricher Oberland, Switzerland.

Greetings Skoulaman"

Happy 77th Birthday, Bob Moog!

YouTube Uploaded by MoogMusicInc on May 22, 2011

"In honor of Bob Moog's 77th Birthday, Moog engineer Steve Dunnington summons a Minimoog Voyager Orchestra to play a Mooged Out version of what else?...Happy Birthday!

Steve overdubbed 6 tracks of Minimoog Voyager, one voice at a time, to realize this rendition of Happy Birthday. Using sounds from the Voyager factory presets, this special version of Happy Birthday for Bob was envisioned as a stylistic mashup of Kraftwerk and Jean-Jacques Perry. Both are artists who helped put the Moog Synthesizer in the ear of listeners all over the world.

Happy Birthday, Bob! This year marks some big changes for the little company you started. None of it would be possible without your fearless genius, passion for innovation and overwhelming humility. Thanks for everything, Bob!

And Bob Moog's 10/10/51 highschool statement for college via The Bob Moog Foundation's "The Birth of a Man. The Birth of a Legacy."

"When I was six years old, I was enrolled in P.S. 24 (Flushing). I enjoyed school and had no problem in garnering high marks. Two years thereafter, I began taking piano lesson(s). While in sixth grade I wrote a winning composition on Fire Prevention, and received a medal from the mayor. At this time, I became interested in science. My father, who is an electrical engineer, encouraged me in my interests. I experimented first with chemistry, then with electricity, and finally with electronics. I graduated from P.S. 24, winning the scholarship and commendation medal. I then enrolled in Bronx High School of Science. My interest in music and science was increasing rapidly. After I built a theremin, my interest in these subjects rose to a new high. Since my entrance in to high school, I have been experimenting with electronic musical instruments. In my second term of high school I won the Fred Z. Kean memorial award for the construction of an electronic organ and a Geiger counter, which were displayed at the American Association for the Advancement of Science Convention, December 28, 1949."

See The Birth of a Man. The Birth of a Legacy for more including the rest of letter.

Update: wanted to call this out in his letter: "My goal is to be an enlightened and respected member of my community. I believe that a college education will allow me to execute my ambitions."

I would say he definitely achieved this.
