In this video, Onoue mainly plays the handmade ribbon controller. It can change a oscillator pitch smoothly, depending on the place which you press down. It was originally made as a kind of MOOG SYNTHESIZER's controller in late 60's. I made this following its example. And playing style is self-taught.

"I now have the PCBs, and a box full of parts. I think I have the majority of parts to put the kits into little bags ready. The most noticeable difference between this PCB and the previous version is the inclusion of a 2.5mm DC power connector. I can also tell you that the holes in the PCBs for parts like the switches and pots have been made a little bigger than previous PCBs so the parts will fit easier. Also that the MIDI socket holes should now fit both types that are around on the market..."

"John Trauma messing around with the Modular Mix from Health Club Music

Using different padsounds from Roland JP8x & Jupiter 4, Ensoniq Mirage, Korg Delta & Poly 800, Lem Bit 99

all this pads where feeded into the Audio Inputs of the Modular Mixer. The Envelopes of the Mixer are running autonomously. The Channels where are used are from 2 till 7.

Channel 1 is triggered by the Leploop. The filter is self oscillating and the Cutoff-Frequency is modulated by Sample&Hold from the Korg MS20.

Channel 8 is also triggered by the Leploop feeded by White Noise from the Korg MS50. The Cutoff-Frequency is modualted by a triangle Wave from the LFO of the MS50"

"Getting to know the Doepfer A-188-1 BBD with 4096 stages (MN3205). Initially I installed it according to the procedure on the installation document using an oscilloscope but then found I liked the sound better when adjusting the trim pots to taste by ear."

Akai MFC42 Analogue Filter Demo

"This is a brief overview of the features and functionality of the Akai MFC42 Analogue Filter Module. For this demo I have used a simple disco loop backed by some TR-909 drums and I have tried to cover all the functions of the unit while keeping the video as brief as possible. As I am sure you will have gathered by the end of this video the MFC42 has almost endless configuration possibilities to produce a huge array of filtering effects and I have only touched upon these possibilities in this video.

For those interested the Loop comes from the Akai S900 seen just below the MFC42, the drums are from a Roland TR-909 (with the exception of the hand clap which is from the TR-707 (because my 909 clap needs repairing)). Everything is sequenced with the Akai ASQ10 and the whole mix is liberally compressed by an Alesis 3630 for that '99 Montmartre sound."

"A rather long winded talkie / demo on my new MSSIAH synth for the Commodore 64.
I'm still learning the ropes so bear with me, and apologies for the poor sound quality. I have now got a better way of recording for future videos.
The C64 i'm using is a Model 1 "Bull nose" with the standard single 6581 SID Chip.
I may at a later date find another 6581 SID chip as I also purchased the SID2SID board with the MSSIAH.

"This is a cover of the famous and awesome David Guetta's track "I wanna go crazy" fully performed by me, i have played all the lines including the voices!....
In this track the drum sound is coming out of a Jomox XBase 999 and the main synth-bass was performed with a Dave Smith Mono Evolver Keyboard!... there is also some interesting fx coming out of my Moog Modular synth!!... i hope you enjoy the trip!
My respect for David Guetta and Will.i.am!..."
