... Apple has just released iVoyetraEight v1.2 our dedicated iControlMIDI wireless iPad editor for Octave Voyetra Eight REV4.
iVoyetraEight v1.2 offers 115 parameters (not counting Page 1) on 7 Pages:
• Page 1 is dedicated to the Voyetra Eight NORMAL Page / MIDI parameters, you will love this!
- 1 click to put the Voyetra in MIDI Omni Off (as this parameter is not persistent!)
- A numeric keypad that let you change the Left Program of a Step
- MIDI Program Change parameter block to change the Left + Right Program of a Step
- Step Change parameter block
- Whole 8 button

Why use iVoyetraEight?
Because known to date software editors don't work with the Voyetra Eight (although they claim they do; we own those software they do not work with our Voyetra Eight).
Because the MIDI implementation is so complex that it does not allow hardware control surface or iPad software to provide an editor; for example:
- can those tools manage 256 values (for the same parameter) spread on 2 nibbles when sent to the Voyetra Eight?
- can those tools send 8 parameters / parameter values at the same time when you slide 1 parameter pertaining to a '8th-grouped parameter byte'?
Unfortunately not!
Because iVoyetraEight abstracted those technical challenges and is organized like a standard analog synth (VCO page, VCF page, VCA page, etc...) making programming the Voyetra Eight straightforward.
Because iVoyetraEight will automatically enable / disable parameters based on other parameter value (ex: you select VCO 1 wave Pulse = On; iVoyetraEight will automatically enable the PWM1 parameters) offering an even faster programming workflow."
