via this auction
"This 4 Channel Analog Sequencer works fantasic! 9Vdc Powered . Triggered output an control voltage output. 4 (Green knobs) are controls for each of the channels (0 to 5.45Vdc adjustable). The Green LEDs are the pilot lamps for each of the channels, they will scan in sequence from 1 to 4. The freq knob is for the speed of the scanning. Very easy to hook use, Instructions will be shipped with unit. Fully grounded and IC's are socketed. I have tested this on my Synth and works great.

All wires are secure and will have no problem if you open the tin. NOT MENT TO STORE GUN!!!!!!!!

The case was a Wrigley's Doublemingt Tin case converted to hold this sequencer. The size of the tin is 6 5/8 x 2 x 2 inches.

The Modual is 4 1/4 inches wide by 8 1/4 inches long. Depth is 2 1/4 inch. "

Syndrum Quad Vintage Analog Drum Machine

via this auction

"Syndrum Quad with custom wood sides... Included is a really long (I think it's 15 or 20 ft) breakout cable in order to trigger the 4 modules. It was wired into my patchbay so you will just need to add 1/4" connectors to the 4 ends. I had it custom made because the original trigger cable was short and always got tangled."

Copper Oxide Thermoelectric Generator Can Light LED

YouTube Uploaded by nylesteiner on Jul 19, 2011
Curios if those are the new Steiner Synthasystem modules in the background.
"A simple copper oxide thermoelectric generator can generate hundreds of millivolts. Sixteen of them in series can generate enough voltage to light an LED.

See more information at http://www.sparkbangbuzz.com

What is happening? I have spent my entire life reading whatever technical books and articles I could find and can recall seeing only one book that says anything about this device. It would be safe to say however, that an explanation could be found in the institutionalized literature. Not being presently affiliated with any institutions, I do not have ready access to most of their literature which makes the cost of reading it prohibitive. So, I will offer my own take on what is happening.

A thermocouple is generally thought of as being a junction between two dissimilar metals but it might be better to say that it is a junction between two dissimilar conductors. Touching the two oxidized wires together forms a junction of copper oxide to copper oxide. This is not where the action is. The copper oxide on both wires should be thought of as one solid conductor between the two copper wires - a very short one at that. This can now be seen as the classic two thermocouples back to back circuit. We have a copper - copper oxide junction on the hot wire and an opposing copper oxide - copper junction on the cold wire. With this in mind it is now easy to view this device as being a normal thermistor circuit.

It is easy to wonder how this device could work at all because of the copper oxide, that is between the two wires, being almost an insulator. Copper oxide however, also acts like a thermistor with a very high negative temperature coefficient. Even the "cold" wire still gets hot enough that the resistance of the copper oxide drops relatively to a very low value - enabling current to flow.

I must give credit to an older book "Simple Scientific Experiments" by Aurel de Ratti as being the one and only book I have ever seen that makes the reader aware of this copper oxide thermoelectric generator. This book also contains other fascinating stuff. It is reprinted and sold by Lindsay Publications Inc."

Buchla FM Drone

"This is a drone with lots of FM. The mod osc of the 261e is modulating the frequency of the principal osc and the ZOe. The mod osc of the 259e is modulating the frequency and the morph of the principal osc. The pulse wave of the ZOe is going in to the 291e which has the frequency being modulated by one stage of the 281e."

Evans Echopet Analog Delay Unit

via this auction

"Pure, dirty analog delay. The Evans Echopet is a low-fi but spectacular analog delay unit which is a breathe of fresh air in today's ultra clean digital effect days... Think of this as a poor mans Roland Space Echo if you will but I promise you won't be unhappy. Try driving the input for some distortion and even use it to run your guitar or synth's through to add some 'color'. Mono quarter in jack connections with optional foot-switch (not supplied) control."

Squarewave Parade Mingrod - Ringmodulator

via this auction

"This is a passive analog ring modulator / octave up that was lovingly handmade by the Squarewave Parade. This ring modulator is now very rare and does not require any power to run. The ring modulator is made to a very high standard with a lacquer coated case and has three ¼” input jacks ( mono )...

::: DESCRIPTION :::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::

this is an analog passive ring ( also called "balanced" ) modulator that is also capable of producing an octave up if only one input is used (achieved via internal switching - there are no other controls). unlike most ring modulators you will find this one does not come with a built in oscillator. this is done on purpose to give you the chance to use your own modulator and as a result it gives you a much wider range of possibilities. everything from AM radio static to tempo matched drum loops can be used to modulate your source. use of line level instruments like synths, mixers, and sound cards would be ideal. being a passive design ( meaning it does not require any power source to operate ) you will need to increase the level of quieter signals, such as guitar, to get the ring to work. you can do this by adding a pre-amp, booster, distortion pedal, channel of a mixer, etc... before that input. you may also want to boost the output depending on your intentions. its made with hand matched germanium diodes for minimal signal bleed. the transformers on the input and output will also yield a nice thick organic distortion when over-driven.

Squarewave Parade Teaspoon

via this auction

"This is an instant playback looping audio sampler that was lovingly handmade by the Squarewave Parade. This looper is now very rare and can run on both 9V battery or DC connection (not supplied). The Looper is made to a very high standard with a lacquer coated case, heavy duty switch, professionally manufactured PCB and has one ¼” input jack ( mono ) - one ¼” output jack ( mono )...

::: DESCRIPTION :::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::

the teaspoon is a lo-fi instant playback looping audio sampler designed to achieve the classic glitching / stuttering / skipping effect by pushing a single button. there really isn't much more to say.

::: CONTROLS :::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::

gain: this is the control for the pre amp which is in front of the sampler and is strong enough to allow for plugging a guitar directly into it and results in a line level output. at lower settings it works as a buffer for line level inputs as usual and it can obviously be used to overdrive the input

time: this is the sample length / pitch adjustment. setting it to any given location presets the length of time it will sample, adjusting it just prior to pushing the button will allow you to alter the pitch/speed of the incoming audio that is sampled. as well adjusting it after pressing the button will allow you to alter the pitch/speed of the playback.

out: this is the output volume control

push button: this is a nice heavy duty switchcraft momentary pushbutton that triggers playback of the sampler, which is constantly sampling the input even after the button is pressed. this means that every single playback cycle is a rerecording of the output and each one will gradually degenerate especially at the lower sample rate of the slower speeds. as soon as you release it its immediately sampling the incoming audio again and the previous sample is being over-written ( but if you quickly switch back to playback you can then interrupt the recording and hear bits of the old sample that have yet to be overwritten now cut together with the new ). also if you sweep the time control far up or down during playback it will then be re-sampling the higher/ lower pitched sound and when returning to the original speed the sound will be different, you can do this over and over creating staticy grain clouds. please note there is no "bypass" switch. just not having this button pushed is the bypass ( not true bypass)

power switch : just a power toggle switch. the status is indicated but the led on top. note: i had to do some unusual things to get more pitch range out of this design so if you try to power it up with the time set to the highest possible setting it will not boot correctly. just turn the time down a couple notches and reboot to remedy this. just a minor inconvenience and worth the trade off

9v dc jack : standard DC power supply here. anything from 9v to around 15v is fine. there is an internal regulator to keep things safe

in / out jacks : mono in and out marked with arrows on the top - the input now has over voltage protection, but if you can help it its best to stay in the +/-3v range or lower

each one is handmade - and numbered internally

"First demo video of the effects of the Teaspoon by The Squarewave Parade. Here we have some XBase09SE drums, followed by some Flame Talking Synth, followed by more XBase drums (bitcrushed) all going through and being cut and looped with the trigger control (right momentary button). The left knob I'm tweaking controls the length of the sample+hold. Arguably the most fun to play two-handed effects box I own. I think though you have to have a little better sense of rhythm than what I display here..."

Maplin ETI 4600 vintage synthesiser

via this auction

"ETI 4600 Synth for restoration /repair. This has been stored away with the intension of repairing it some day but never had the time to bring it back to life. The power supply is missing the minus 14 volt rail and oscillator one has a short out on + 14 to 0 volt . Also filter two drags the supply down to + 8 volts from the +14 volt rail.I have not gone any further with this so it's going up for auction.The front panel is in good condition and the case has only a few marks here and there,one shown in photo on right hand side of cabinet.This synth is complete ,nothing missing from inside just needs some time spending on it . It comes with mains lead, pack of patch pins and copy of construction manual."
