Update via Suit & Tie Guy: "I believe this is one of the four machines built for the famous 1969 'Jazz In The Garden at MOMA' concert. after the show it was repackaged and sold to Eric Siday.
it's possible and likely that these modules were also built for Carl Palmer's drum rig for the Brain Salad Surgery album. based on the panel controls it would seem reasonable to assume this. it would be great if someone close to Carl would find out if this is the case."
Additional note via Suit & Tie Guy: "By 'these modules' I meant 'they pulled the films out and made a few for Carl as well' as opposed to the idea that Carl owned these pieces, which he did not."
Update: turns out Carl Palmer's drum rig was not Moog but custom built. If anyone has more info on it, feel free to comment or shoot me an email via the email icon on the bottom right. The following is a video of Carl Palmer featuring his electronic drums back in 1973. [I originally mentioned that this post stated he used a Moog 1130 Drum Controller for Brain Salad. I heard from a reliable source that he did not].

"Percussion experiment using the 291e and 255. Then more crud added for fun. If you ever wondered what you can do with eight slew limiters, here you go.
Bass kick = 291e channel A fed back into itself (no external sound source).
Channels B&C processing noise from the 266e.
All three channels use the built-in 291e VCAs (292e not used).
255 supplies EG modulation, 250e supplies pulses.
291e ALL output goes straight to the 206e (only one mixer channel required).
Main sequence is the 259e v21 tracking mode, morph modulation.
261e + 285e does the standard plinkity plink at the end, taking unattenuated pitches from the QRV section of the 266e."

"This is a pretty rare analog rhythm box from Italy (CRB Elettronica). It came out 1973. It has 12 free combinable rhythm patterns. VOLUME and TEMPO controls.
The bassdrum and snare sound very good! The snare is more realistic than those of other rhythm boxes of that time."

UDS has midi input to work with sequencers. Unfortunately it works not correctly with some midi controllers, because instrument react to midi on and off messages and generate double sound. There isn't this problem with daw sequencers. I ask very reasonable price because this little issue.Connectors were replaced to standard 1/4 jacks, new pots were installed, some caps were replaced. Both units sound perfect and you can get many drum and perc sounds, also fx's, clicks, noises etc. It's really great instruments for any sort of experimental electronic music.
