"Done on the Elektron Trinity (Octatrack, Machinedrum, Monomachine) and some samples from OP1 - actually 90 percent of the material was sampled on to the Octatrack from the machines - it works amazing as a producing machine :) Took around 2 hours to create the track but took longer to actually 'perform' it right and have the video looking OK."

One Synth You'd Probably Not Want to Even Try Taking on a Plane
"Ive carefully hand built this theremin into a toy plastic pistol that was used for video game.
You can trigger the theremin by pulling the trigger for momentary use, its on when you pull the trigger and goes off when you let go.
Ive also added a slide switch that also turns it on and off.
You control the pitch by lower your hand over the end of the barrel.
This fantastic sci-fi effects generator is very well built to last years.
THere is no sound emitted until you drop a shadow, or light onto the opto cell so all you have to do is simply cast varying shadows on the opto lens for some great theremin work.Very easy to control and offers some amazing synth tone patterns, runs on (1) 9 volt battery.
Ive added these controls to the handbuilt circuit:

"A little arpeggiator jam. The Little Phatty is using its own arpeggiator. The Prophet 08 is being triggered by the Pocket Piano's arpeggiator which in turn is being controlled by the Little Phatty. The pocket piano is not in the audio chain here, it is only used to control the prophet 08 via MIDI.

"This is my Korg Monotribe using the mod points provided by Korg. The individual outs are run through an amplifier circuit to boost them to line level (they are very low right off the board) and the snare frame and noise outputs are merged into one output. The pots I used on the BD and SD decay are considerably too big value wise, a 1KB or 500RB one should be used (I used 2KB) so the range that it affects the sound is only towards the end of the adjustment"

Rare Black Baldwin E-MU Emax SE keyboard
"This is the very rare version E-MU handed over to Baldwin to sell in a few piano shops that E-MU couldn't normally sell a sampler in (licensing issues I'm guessing). It is the same as an E-MU Emax SE except it is black instead of grey."

Update via Dennis via Emulatorarchive: "The Emax was also availablefrom Baldwin, a US organ and piano manufacturer. You will occasionally see an Emax badged as a Baldwin IKE, but with no front panel graphics explaining the OS functions. Other than this, they are identical samplers. The tie up with Baldwin lasted a few years, and included a Baldwin Proteus." I didn't notice it at first, but the front panel parameters appear to be taped on this one.

The volume and balance sliders have Juno 6/60 caps instead if the usual white pips. I did this to make it easier to control and have since lost the two white pips."

"The Encore Universal Event Generator is a 30HP Euro Rack compatible module designed to be a versatile and useful addition to an already great modular system. The UEG can be used as an envelope generator, a complex LFO, or as a step sequencer.
Eight stages are provided with adjustable time and level for each stage, and they each have an LED which indicates the relative voltage output for that stage.
The left switch controls the major modes of the UEG. LOOPONLY mode will force the UEG to cycle between the loop points. This is essentially an LFO.
ONESHOT mode will cycle through all eight stages once, regardless of the duration of the gate input.
GATED allows a new set of options controlled by the second switch. In this mode, the module will start the envelope when it receives a gate, but it will also loop as long as the gate is held. Once the gate is released, there are two ways for the envelope to end. In RELEASE mode, the UEG will complete the current stage, then jump immediately to stage 8.
In FINISH LOOP mode, it will simply complete all the stages before stopping.
The left position of the second switch is the STEP mode. In this mode, the UEG takes on a whole different personality: it becomes a step sequencer! It will advance through the 8 stages for each positive pulse on the GATE input.
The START and END loop switches allow the UEG to start a "loop" anywhere from stages 2 through 4, and end the loop between stages 5 and 7. These are used in LOOPONLY mode and in GATED mode.
The output waveform can have one of three slopes: linear, log, and step. These are shown graphically on the front panel.
The UEG also has a MANUAL GATE button, useful to trigger the UEG while setting it up."

"Old Berlin skool..yes, I think...you love it or not (sometimes I get a reaction that you don't need to create old skool music with old skool gear, oke, but people are still listening to classic music with classical instruments, so why not). It start with a DS8 analog synthpad emulation, then the Moog sequence come in followed by the choir sound of the Korg Lambda, second sequence from the Waldorf micro Q. Sequences generated with the Doepfer Dark Time. Between are accords from the Roland Juno 106, stringsounds from the Lambda and E-piano from the Yamaha DX27.
The vid is made with a Olympus D720 with wide angle view, so now you can see my total home studio at once. See www.skoulaman.nl for details of the studio.

The Convulsion Generator is based around a bridged-T resonator circuit, as found at the heart of the infamous TR808 kick drum. The circuit will produce decaying sinusoids when pulses are sent to the input. This can be likened to "pinging" a resonant filter. However, in the case of the Convulsion Generator, the resonator has been tuned so that these sinusoids are produced at frequencies below the audible range. This means that the Convulsion Generator can output sinusoidal CV sources, as well as covering the lower end of the audible spectrum, allowing for boomy, bass-heavy kick drums."
