Realistic Moog Concertmate MG-1

via this auction

"Realistic Moog Concertmate MG-1 with the following upgrades:

1/4"-Jack audio output (see photos below)
1/4"-Jack audio input to 24-dB Moog filter (see photos below)
Improved gate response
Multitrigger & continuous glide
Octave pitch drop
MIDI2CV - Design: Bojan Burkeljc
MIDI Notes - Pitch Voltage & Gate Trigger
Pitch/Gate source select switch (MIDI or Keyboard)
Sticky black foam removed

These modifications transform the existing MG-1 into a responsive and controllable analog monosynth with a lush Moog ladder-filter. To the left of the keyboard, there is a switch to select between MIDI control or internal keyboard control. With MIDI control selected, the pitch voltage and gate trigger are controlled by the MIDI interface. The board converts MIDI data from note on/off messages to a pitch voltage and a gate trigger.

The filter input and the MG-1 audio output are routed through 1/4" jacks that take the place of the pitch and trigger jacks. The jacks are unlabeled in order to preserve the original aesthetics as best as possible. The filter input can be mixed with the MG-1's audio sources (2 VCOs, Noise, Bell, and Poly).

The improved gate response affects the internal keyboard gate and allows for faster playing (quicker successions of triggered notes). The multitrigger modification also improves play of the internal keyboard. It restores Moog's typical low-note priority, retriggers when you play a new note and release a note to return to the original note. It also adds continuous glide, such that the glide will not stop in-between notes (and off-pitch) if you take your hands off the keys, the pitch will continue to glide to the note you played."

"We have been working hard for many months on a new firmware version for the Continuum Fingerboard. This new firmware will include a custom programmable synthesizer. We are in the final stages of testing and design. We are both very excited about this product, and look forward to getting it into the hands of Continuum players. It's called the EaganMatrix.

The EaganMatrix is a modular digital synthesizer, allowing the user to finely craft their musical sound through connecting a myriad of
s via a patching matrix. This matrix is inspired by classical modular synthesizers like the ARP 2500 and the EMS Synthi 100. However, unike those analog predecessors, the EaganMatrix doesn't use virtual pins to make patch point connections. Instead, a dynamic formulaic equation can be placed inside a selected patch point, creating a simple to amazingly complex relationship between the Continuum playing surface and the flow of sound from patch point source to destination. Each three dimensional performance direction of the Continuum playing surface can influence the final result of this single patch point. And there are many, many patch points!

"This months pattern is from King Mental
http://soundcloud.com/king-mental

I've atached pattern data image

Stick it in your 303/x0xb0x/soft synth/modular or whatever and go mental

The pattern can then be programmed into your tb303 or x0x box to create a new track. The pattern could be programmed into your vst such as ABL or Phoscoyn to create a new track. Transcribe the pattern to midi and send it to your favourite synth to create a new track. Grab the audio file and rework the audio into a new track

Then post your finished track or jam into the acid pattern group
http://soundcloud.com/groups/the-acid-question

You can grab this empty pattern sheet from here
http://bit.ly/a9bafZ

There is a noisepage archive for all the old patterns.
http://noisepages.com/groups/acid-pattern-group/forum/

Each month one of the group members submits a tb303 pattern for everyone to load into their 303, x0xb0x's or soft synths to make some acid"

Doepfer Dark Time sequencing the Realistic MG-1 part A

YouTube Uploaded by skoulaman on Feb 12, 2012

"My next upload of the Relastic Concertmate MG-1 shows the connection with the Doefper Dark Time, a realy nice combination because teh DT does have CV and gate connections for (old) analog synths and Midi. Conneting the Moog Little Phatty with the MIDI out of the DT was the next step. I had to tune the Realistic with the Moog LP because the CV signal is not callibrated. It is just a demo, so musical the quality is not high. In the end I put some other synth sounds to it (and about the stereo effect, you can here sweeping the roland 106 when I open the filter cutoff). I found the Electrix for a fancy price because it is a very nice effect, at most for live situations.

Thx for visiting

greetings Hans 'Skoulaman'"

The trick i used for that track is that one :
3 raw VCO waveforms from the Telemark into the four-input mixer of the CP-251 and the + and - ouputs of the CP-251 into the pitch inputs 1 and 2 of the Telemark. Some tweakings to animate that patch and that's all !"

Misa Kitara Digital Guitar - Midi Guitar, Controller, Synthesizer

via this auction

"This listing is for a Misa Kitara, in original packaging with power adaptor, instrument cable, pdf manual, certificate, strap and USB cable. In mint condition, purchased new direct from Misa, and played for approx. 60 minutes total.

This is a great midi/digital guitar controller with built in sounds, and a touchscreen interface...

The Misa digital guitar is an experimental new instrument, similar to an electric guitar in shape, but with an interface designed to easily and intuitively control digital audio.

Most musicians today use some form of audio synthesis or sampling in their music. Virtually any type of sound can be created using these methods. Traditionally, digital piano keyboards have been the dominant instrument for controlling these sounds real-time in a musical setting.

At Misa, we provide a new instrument that not only unites traditional guitar playing technique with digital sound, but allows digital guitarists to use playing techniques that are not possible or comfortable on a digital keyboard..."

Drumfire DF-2000 Vintage Analog Rackmount Drum Synthesizer SN 21787

via this auction
"The Drumfire DF-2000 is a 2 channel rackmount drum synth.
The 2 channels are identical, with their own Trigger-In and Audio Out sockets.
Each channel is a mini analogue synth drum module, capable of producing a wide range of electronic drum sounds, and since every parameter is defined by a knob, it's highly tweakable.

The 2 drum channels each have
SENSITIVITY-controls pickup/trigger in sensitivity
OSCILLATOR DECAY-controls decay time of the synth oscillator
NOISE DECAY-controls decay time of the noise sound
SWEEP-alters oscillator frequency
CLICK (Switch)-adds a click sound to the attack
PITCH-changes oscillator pitch
BALANCE-controls balance between oscillator/noise
VOLUME-output volume to mixer
PAN L/R-balance control, also allow dual output on L/R jacks
One out can be daisy chained to the next channel's input, so cascading up to a 2 oscillator synth drum sound! Great for crazy/weird/techno-y drum sounds."
