REALISTIC MOOG MG-1 SN 17400 With Original Box & Probe?

Note: Auction links are affiliate links for which the site may be compensated. via this auction

Anyone know what the probe is for?

"This is an excellent example of this vintage synthesizer from "Realistic/Moog", the 'MG-1' model. The keyboard is in excellent condition, and works and sounds great. It is still in the original box and packaging, and looks to have seen little use, if any. The MG-1 is a 2-VCO monophonic/polyphonic analog synth with a genuine 24dB/oct Moog filter. The keyboard is in great condition, and has no heavy type or noticeable scratches on the top or sides, and the edges are nice and clean all around. The keys are also nice and clean, and are all still nice and white, and they have no chips or cracks. The original box is also included, and it also includes the probe that is shown. I have taken a number of photos. Measures 21" by 12", and stands 5" high in the back."

"This auction is for a Maxi-Korg Univox Electronic Synthesizer Made By Keio Electronic Tokyo, Japan. This is model K-3 and seriel number 0620. This is 117 V AC 50/60 HZ 15 Watts. This is more than likley from the late 60's or early 70's. This does have some wood delaminating from age and wear and also has key that sticks up but does work and the blue light does not light up anymore. One key is cracked. This is fully functional and works."

Moog "Rogue" Synthesizer, upgraded to "Taurus II"

via this auction

"It is a 'Rogue' model which has been upgraded to 'Taurus II' specs in order to get a lower bass range (1 octave lower). The handwritten instructions for this upgrade, for someone named 'Kerry' at Moog, dated 7/18/1989, are included. Also included will be the capacitor to return the unit to 'Rogue' spec if desired. The instrument is in clean, working condition and all original instructions as pictured are included. The transformer box has a cracked case, but it was repaired and does work. This was owned and used by a professional musician"

Ben,s sound box thingymagig

YouTube Published on Aug 11, 2012 by Ben Francis

"This is a short vid, of a project, i have been working on. It still needs some tweaking, as you can see the top is not secured. Its basically a box, with a shelf, with holes drilled in, then copper poles, intertwined underneath. I then made a simple circuit, with a mic and amp, and jack output, this then can be plugged into the mixer, I added alittle reverb, But well happy. will post pics of finished project soon."

LIVE MODULAR TRACK RECORDED IN ONE TAKE WITHOUT OVERDUBBING!

Musical Elements:

"B-Boy Flange Hats"
Mungo dDS noise channel activated via trigger in modification. Flanging effect via Yamaha AD-202 Analog Delay.

"Conga Heart Beat"
MFB Drum-06 Tom Tom module into Analogue Systems RS-100 Low Pass Filter. The tom interchanges as a fill with the kick drum via alternating switching by using VCAs with an Intellijel Flip Flop.

"Snappy Chorus Claps"
Sound of a Pittsburgh Modular Generator frequency modulated by itself and white noise. The internal VCA of the Generator is controlled by an Analogue Systems RS-60 Envelope. It then goes into a Doepfer A-136 Distortion/Waveshaper and on into a Flight of Harmony Sound of Shadows delay.

"Rubber Bass Kicks"
MFB Drum-04 Bass Drum module Sequenced by an Analogue Systems RS-200 Sequential Controller into an RS-100 Low Pass Filter. I reset the sequence with a foot switch via a Doepfer A-177-2 External Foot Controller II module.

"G-Funk Bird Calls"
Cwejman VM-1 sequenced via an RS-200 Sequential Controller into an RS-110 Multimode Filter using the high-pass output. It then goes into a Pittsburgh Modular Analogue Delay and on into a Zoom 9200 Reverb.

"Metal-Beaded Cabasa"
Elby Designs CGS747 Cynare Simulator triggered via a Doepfer A-166 Dual Logic Module.

"Com Trusian Chords"
Roland Juno-106 into a Boss RX-100 Spring Reverb.

"Aztec God Rays"
While the Juno-106 is played polyphonically is also activating a mono channel of a Kenton Pro-2 Midi-to-CV converter which is controlling another Cwejman VM-1. The envelope in set in such a way that the sound emerges once the gate is released. It goes into a Doepfer A-199 Spring Reverb which is feeding back into the VM-1 via the audio input jack.

"Ticklish Chimp Giggles"
The result of a complex feedback loop involving a Doepfer A-138m Matrix Mixer, an MFB DRUM-05 Snare Drum module, an Elby Designs CGS735 Synthacon Filter, a Pittsburgh Modular VC Bend and an Elby Designs ED108 ChaQuO.

"Didgeridoo Error Stabs"
The Kawai K5000W keyboard is acting as a Midi controller for another channel of CV via a Kenton Pro-2. It controls 2 Bubblesound uLFOs going into a Make Noise QMMG modulated by a Make Noise Maths.

PongFu - Minds banned to expand

YouTube Published on Aug 10, 2012 by PongFuTube

"So.. A dimly lit video then..... Alas, the timing is way off, still at the start it wasn't.
Can't really be due to the difference in speed of light & sound now can it?
Cause they only differ on long distances.
So towards the end we probably just spacetravelled a long distance away from
where this was intentionally made. Already.
Or it's harmonious thunder of some sort.
Still you get to watch something that sounds like some hasty hands pushing buttons & twisting knobs, and also looks like soundcreation but then slower.
If you're not that into hands you can just listen to the sound only from this
soundcloud dot com/pongfu/banned-to-expand
And then you don't even have to watch anything per se. How's that?
And if you don't like soundcloud, well... Yes. What then?
Is the soundcloud blocking your silent sun? While soundwaves are transparent?
I for one haven't the foggiest.
You should try cheering up a bit, its just people making music you know.
Or otherwise I can probably only advise you to call the tired cops again,
or something or other. If that would help you out.
Then again,.....you naughty pharisee you.
You could do that but, Jesus Christ..... What is your problem guy?
Is it the blind creature jungle?
Yes that IS a problem is it not?
Creatures thinking they can see, still, they are blind.
So seeing is believing is it? Or is believing seeing for the first time?"
