"I don't like watching the world cup soccer so I am having a bit of fun with this improvisation. I only had the sequence dialed in and just made up the intro. Then I thought lets record a video. And this is the result which is all done in one take. I hope you like it. Rows 1 and 3 of the Synthesizers.com Q960 sequencer are connected to the Synthesizers.com Modular doing the high sequence. I alternate manually between rows 1 and 3 with the Q962 sequential switch. Row 2 is connected to the self-built Modular doing a bass sequence. Intro, outro and chord are played on the Waldorf Q Keyboard. The solo is performed on the Clavia Nord Lead 1 and the Mellotron strings on the Roland XP-80."

"Moog Polymoog Keyboard. Models 203a. Lter known as the polymoog synthesizer. It is the more desirable, more programmable Polymoog. It needs some work. It powers on and plays. All but 4 keys work. Though a few keys are still a little touchy. The voices all work. But there is an issue. When first powered up. All voices. In both part/full work well. After 5 to 10 minutes of warm up. Only the voices when switched to "part" work. This seems to be a power supply issue. Or a cap problem. As once the piece warms up. One part goes out of spec. There are a few cracks in the lower chassis. Overall this is a piece that works pretty well for not having been serviced in, who knows how long. This Moog was found with a large lot of Moog gear."

The VL1-m is especially suited for use with a MIDI wind controller or keyboard with breath controller..."

Version 2.0 OS adds great functionality and stability to an already wonderful synth. It is rare to find a Sunsyn for sale; even more rare to find an upgraded 2.0."

Trogotronic 665 Analog Synth

Note: Auction links are affiliate links for which the site may be compensated. via this auction

"Trogotronic gear is designed and built by W.T. Nelson of Bastard Noise / Man Is The Bastard. Here is the builders description of the device.

'The Trogotronic Model 665 Subterranean Analog Artifact Explorer: ideally suited for expeditions into the realm of analog higher-order thresholds whose existence is poorly addressed (more often forgotten completely) in the algorithms that math stooges write for large audio electronics firms who seek to capture real life analog circuits in stale equations computed by cheap microprocessors. Turbulent, complex and unstable areas of analog sound difficult to navigate let alone discover with even the most sophisticated and expensive analog synthesis gear are readily accessed with a twist of this eight-knobber. Sharp, ragged and searing solos tones; horrifying torturous particle blasts and soothing lengthy Venusian jungle bird calls that cycle lazily (with a bit of fine tuning exploration).

With an interface that is simple and concise but a range that spans great heights and depths, the 665 also transforms and modulates sounds that are sent through it'"

Via the seller: "In this auction we have one of the most tricked out, one-of-a-kind, nothing else like it Commodore 64 computers in existence! I hand built this fully functional mod over the course of 5 months +/- years in stress. So much research, development, time, design and money went into this project and I can honestly say I am super proud of what I built. I am currently in a bit of a bind and my priorities are completely shifted. In short, I am selling off the majority of my studio to be with my son.

Here is a list of all the mods, hacks and work I put into this thing. Please read all of this to understand exactly what it is that I am selling. There are links for you to further research and see more pictures of this build in the text below.

-Painted the chassis blue and black inside and out.
- Mounted nice locking guitar strap pegs
-Added a custom Li-Ion battery pouch attached to locking guitar strap
- wired a 12v pass through from battery pack, through body and out the top by the LCD mount (no wires, easy disconnect, clean)
- wired a color selector switch close to the 12V battery pack input. Choose Power LED color to suite you mood, can also turn off LED once colors cycle fully if you have not chosen one
- Added a Stratocaster guitar boat style output plate wired for stereo TRS (for stereo output)
- Added a Telecaster style control plate. 2 knobs control volume of dual sids while the switch selects dual sid or mono sid

Intellijel Rubicon + Dr Octature

"Just a quick demo of a couple of modules that seem to be under-represented on YouTube (or at least, direct audio recordings of): the Intellijel Rubicon VCO + Dr Octature VCF. First we hear Rubicon's Sine with some slight FM from a Pittsburgh VCO Triangle. Both the Rubicon and the Pittsburgh VCO are being sequenced via the Roland SH-101's arpeggiator. I bring in some FM on the DrO, coming from the Rubicon's Double-Saw. Then I'm using a Manhattan Analog Mix to bring in & out the Rubicon's Sub Out, and the Double-Pulse - between those 3 you get 3 octaves from a single VCO. Is fat, no?"

Arjen Schat | Ambient Recording Process

YouTube Published on Sep 18, 2012 by Arjen Schat

"A demonstration of my ambient recording process at Infraklang. I use a complex routing on my Allen & Heath ZED 436 to feed the signal from the Moog Little Phatties and DSI Prophet '08 to the effects and back to a bus to feed the combined signal to my audio interface to process it realtime through Logic Pro's phaser and silververb.

The synthesizers are sequenced with Renoise + ESI M8UXL and are routed through an array of effects: Moog MF-103 and MF-104Z, Maxon AD999, T-Rex Room-mate and a Vermona PH-16.
