"here my mattson mini modular's sample and hold is driving an LFO clock rate which causes it to randomly generate percussion accent patterns. because i have the sample and hold sampling at the first stage of the sequencer (with the sequencer expansion gate output) it changes the accent pattern once for every loop of the sequencer.
i plugged in a bunch of division 6 jack lights to show you the output of the LFO to help you see how it is affecting the percussion accents."

Worth noting is that although the Mattson Mini Modular is a different physical format than eurorack, you can patch them together. I do so often. My Mattson Mini Modular is the heart of my modular system.

"I thought I'd upload my first look at Samplr, a fantastic sample performance app for iOS. Almost all source was created on this tablet, and it came out kinda IDM/anthem-y this time around. Percussion: iElectribe and custom modular patches in Audulus. Synths: Korg iPolysix and PPG Wavegenerator. Audiobus for all of the above. Additional material: BeatMaker 2. Sample editing/EQing: Auria (with FabFilter Pro-Q). With more practice I hope to get around the interface faster (also mix-wise the bass is a bit fuzzy and 'tubby' in spots here) but this is a start!"

"First, the synth was given a thorough cleaning inside and out. Among other things, this included removing all of the infamous black goo from the top PCB caused by deteriorated foam dust cover. The plastic side panels and control surface were carefully cleaned using specially selected products. Finally, the keyboard was completely taken apart and each key was washed, individually and by hand.
Second, all of the slide pots and switches were replaced using new parts of the correct value. I purchased a kit bought from Technology Transplant, which is one of the few companies that still sells restoration kits for the MG-1. As a part of this sale, you will also receive a set of brand-new, never-used slider tips and knobs, which came with the Technology Transplant kit. (The knobs and tips on the instrument are all original, as far as I can tell, and are in great shape still.)
Finally, the MG-1 was taken to a professional synth technician (Dean of Five Star Engineering in Mesa, Arizona), for all remaining electronics work. Dean repaired the out-of-spec power-supply circuit by replacing a defective voltage regulator; repaired the keyboard-current circuit by replacing a defective integrated circuit; replaced the defective LED; cleaned the key contacts; and finally, performed a full calibration of the instrument.
In short, this MG-1 is clean and sounds great, exactly as it was designed to. You would be hard-pressed to find a cleaner, better-sounding MG-1!"

"The TAMA DS200 drum synthesizer has two oscillators that can be triggered via ¼” audio jacks mounted on the front of the unit. Parameters that can be controlled are Sensitivity, Tune, Sweep Time, Sweep Range, Decay and output Level. Oscillators can be switched on or off via a front mounted switch, As well as the option for a foot pedal via ¼” jack. Depending on the audio source passed through the DS200, A range of synthesized percussion can be created and customized.

"You are looking at a really nice Prophet 5 Synthesizer, version 3.3 with MIDI installed. The unit works perfectly with no issues. In the past year, it's been to Wine Country Productions for the installation of a new battery and a general health check up and calibration. About 3 years ago, the keyboard bushings were all replaced, so the keyboard plays as good as possible. The wood is good to excellent in condition with a few minor scratches here and there. One small gouge on a bottom corner also - not really seen. Front panel, as shown, is also excellent with only one small scratch along the top. Comes with factory patches installed and with the Prophet 5 Technical manual, a 3 ring binder with tons of info on servicing and maintenance."

This is the second video in our series demonstrating the Cyclone Analogic Bass Bot TT-303 - a recently released clone of Roland's TB-303. Here I use Pitch Mode to program a pattern. I've used Slide and Accent so you can see how they sound on the TT-303. I also demonstrate both the saw and square waveforms at different settings.
