via the listing: "All the keys and membrane buttons work. This auction includes a RC-2 sound cartridge. I have loaded the German sound banks onto the cartridge and the K3 will be loaded with the original factory presets. I opened the synth up so that you can see that this is an extremely clean K3. This is my 3rd time owning one of these and this is by far the cleanest example I have ever seen. The internal battery works perfectly, there is no dust or damage on the inside, looks like it was built recently. The outside has a few bumps, there is a slight bend in the chassis on the back left from the original owner trying to open the lid (he forgot to unscrew the two main screws on the back side and it caused it to bend slightly). But this does not affect functionality, you can still plug in instrument cables and MIDI cables without any trouble..."

"Cosmetically, this SH-1000 is in EXC-/VG+++ condition, with all slider caps, sliders, knobs, buttons, jacks and tabs present. The wood panels (yes, solid wood!) are completely intact with virtually no scratches and no dings. This synthesizer has been well taken care of, and it shows.
Everything works as it is supposed to with the following exception: three of the ten "Preset" tabs ("trumpet", "saxophone" and "clarinet," marked in the photos with blue tape) do not produce any sound. These "presets" are simply pre-defined settings for the waveform, timbre, filter and other control settings, all of which do work. Excellent sound-shaping controls, including LFO, filter, ADSR envelope, vibrato, tremolo, "waw" and "growl."

"Up for Auction is my self built BroadWAVE u2K6 (Micro ARP 2600). It is a one-off unit made as a pre-production to an ARP 2600 clone that I have recently completed.
I have set a reserve price at £500 to cover the cost of the initial build and the auction will run to the end - I'm afraid offers will be ignored and returns are not accepted.
Please note that you will require a MIDI to CV converter to use this synth.
It's built into a Tolexed 19" 6U cabinet with strap handle... as yet, I have no idea how to pack this for the courier - don't be surprised it it turns up in a suitcase.
Almost all of the internal circuits are copied directly from the ARP 2600 - the exception being the VCF, LFO and Dual AR envelope generators which are direct copies from the ARP Odyssey.
What does it have that the 2600 doesn't? - A Master CV section (tune all VCO's at once) with 2 FM inputs and Glide, 3 Full 2600 VCO's with sync (sync circuit taken from the ARP Odyssey), and additional AR envelope generator and an LFO with square and sine outputs (tied to the S&H clock frequency), extra multiples.
What's missing? - The 2600 reverb/mixer section and additional FM inputs on the VCO's (sadly, space did not permit these)
The VCF is the 4035 "Moog Infringement" filter from the Odyssey MkII. There is no intrinsic difference between this and the original 4012 VCF from the early 2600 - just a difference in input/output levels... it sounds great : )"

Since there is almost no video in youtube that shows the practical uses of the Moog CV expanders ( VX 352 & VX 351) I decided to put online this lo quality video just to show a (funny) experiment on the day one I connected these machines...sorry for the poor audio quality, recorded from my iphone mic, but this clip was intended only for documentation purposes...enjoy!"

A cool vintage variant on the ever popular Rhodes Piano Bass, this keyboard is essentially an extended bass section from your favorite Combo Organ, with various controls to shape the sustain and tone. The Rheem Kee Bass is unique in that it was the only bass organ ever produced in the 1960s and really adds some great, tweakable low end to your keyboard setup.
If you've always counted on the bass section of your Vox Jaguar or Farfisa Compact and wished you had those features in a portable package, the Rheem is a perfect fit! With controls for Fuzz, Sustain, Percussion (note attack/decay) and Tone, you can easily dial in a sound that will sit well in a band environment. The "Bass Booster" lever is easily the coolest feature on the unit, allowing you to boost low end presence and gain with one easy control that's easy to manipulate on the fly. A new release in our line of Vako Orchestron discs, BRASS ENSEMBLE. It's unlikely that there will be sufficient demand to do a second run of 25 of these discs, so your best bet is to buy as many of these as you need while you can!
BRASS ENSEMBLE is an entirely NEW sound for the Orchestron. It's a composite of three different trombone recordings and two different trumpet recordings, all taken from the original Optigan/Orchestron master tapes, but never used back in the day! The trombones and trumpets are an octave apart, producing a nice rich brass section sound. Please excuse my awful playing here, which is just a quick noodle to demonstrate the sound!
PLEASE NOTE: This disc WILL NOT play properly in an Optigan! They WILL play, but the sounds will NOT be mapped correctly to the keyboard- they will be mapped mostly haphazardly across the chord buttons. Please don't order this disc expecting to easily use it in an Optigan. In the future we will be porting the Orchestron sounds to the Optigan- please be patient! :)

"In the beginning of July I saw this synthesizer in the second hand pages for the equivalent of 65US$. The seller lived in the other end of the country but I decided that if it was still for sale when my summer holiday began then I would go and buy it.
Three weeks later it was still for sale and I went on the long trip up north. So this time the video is a sort of very short road movie. The synth is broken but I expect to be able to get it playing again. It could be an interesting winter project.
The music is something I made back in my tape-days. "Fashion Pack" was a hit for German singer Amanda Lear and here I play it on Yamaha HE-8 and Technics SX-C600 organs, Roland JX-8P synthesizer, and Roland CR-1000 drum machine. It was recorded on my Fostex model 80 8-channel tape recorder."
