Music Thing Modular Spring Reverb

"Spring reverb module for Eurorack modular synths. Audio is slightly out of sync with video, sorry. Full details below...
Controls:
Top knob is reverb level.
Right hand smaller knob is Tilt, a simple hifi-style tone control that changes the colour of the reverb.
Left hand smaller knob is Control, an attenuverter control for the incoming CV. 12 o'clock = no CV, clockwise = increasing CV, anticlockwise = inverted CV.
Patch: DPO sine waves sequenced by Turing Machine and Wogglebug. Gated through QMMG, envelopes from Maths. The CV input makes 80s-style gated reverb and pseudo-reverse reverb possible.
For this demo, using a 9EB2C1B full sized reverb tank.

"The MTM Spring Reverb contains a vactrol crossfader that you can also use independently. Here, it is crossfading between the DPO Final and Square outputs.
The module can be built with either a Silonex or a VTL5C3 vactrol. The VTL5C3 sounds smoother for this use, with a slower response that can be 'pinged'.
Video and audio are slightly out of sync, sorry.

"Up for sale is a restored 1960s/1970s Maestro Rhythm King MRK-1 analog drum machine- as used by Sly & The Family Stone. This unit is in very good cosmetic condition (I glued back some of the tolex that was peeling off) and has been fully tested to be in good working order. All rhythm presets work great, and all individual sounds work. You can combine rhythms with this drum machine to make your own funky beats. It includes the original start/stop footswitch (it’s permanently attached internally, but slides out the back along with the attached ¼” TS guitar cable and the U.S. 3 pin power cable."

Für mich als Fan der elektronischen Musik "Berliner Schule" ein absolut großes Ereignis, was ich so schnell nicht vergessen werde.
Ein lang gehegter Traum wurde wahr, endlich einmal vor einem großen Modular System zu stehen und auch damit zu "spielen"!
Ich habe hier jetzt keine großen Experimente veranstaltet, sondern einfach nur den Sequencer laufen lassen und etwas "geschraubt".
Ich sage nur Knöpfe Knöpfe und noch mehr Knöpfe, einfach herrlich.

Volca Keys signal left channel into MFB-Filterbox and both channels at 1:47 into Hughes & Kettner Tube Rotosphere (Rotary FX). Volca Keys plays the bassline.
Volca Bass signal gets into Behringer's Time Machine (analog delay). Volca Bass plays the chords.
Volca Beats signal and guitar (Godin LGX-SA) get straight into the Mixer (Behringer Xenyx 802)
SEND FX used for all instruments:
EHX Memory Man Deluxe Tap Delay into Danelectro Spring King (Spring Reverb) into Rocktron's Hypnotic Flange (for a soft Stereo FX).
filmed with Leica M 240 & Summilux-M 50mm /f1,4 ASPH @ 2,5 (this time I didn't notice that I recorded the hole time out of focus... )
