The Nord Lead 3 departed from the characteristic Nord Lead sound of the 1 and 2, which later returned again in the Nord Wave and now the 4.  It is definitely an interesting synth in history.

"Sunday is the last day of the Museum of Modern Art's Soundings: A Contemporary Score

Each of the 1,500 speakers in Tristan Perich's Microtonal Wall is tuned to play a specific tone, dividing four octaves into 1,500 microtonal pitches across its 25-foot length. The resulting cloud of frequencies resembles white noise from a distance, transitioning into individual tones as the viewer approaches the piece.

MoMA's first major exhibition of sound art presents work by Luke Fowler, Toshiya Tsunoda, Marco Fusinato, Richard Garet, Florian Hecker, Christine Sun Kim, Jacob Kirkegaard, Haroon Mirza, Carsten Nicolai, Camille Norment, Tristan Perich, Susan Philipsz, Sergei Tcherepnin, Hong-Kai Wang, Jana Winderen, and Stephen Vitiello. "It took a long time but, okay, a new track. There are some recording mistakes at the end due to to loud input. The video is not made during the live recording but afterwards, you can see that the sequencer (the Doepfer Dark Time) is still running. At this moment I am very busy creating new music and recording the sequences in the Roland D5 groovebox because I want to perform live with audience. All the gear was used for this track, but I was inspired by the DX27 clock sound (it starts wit that sound). I loved the DX family dispite a lot of people who dosn't because its not phatt in sound.

"The raw sound is a simple sawtooth waveform from u-he's DIVA soft synth. The output of DIVA is fed out of the DAW and into the SE330. The output is SE330 is then fed back into the DAW for recording."

This is the raw sawtooth from DIVA at 0.01

The Dimension mode - light sinewave modulation and deeper triangle wave modulation at 0.09

Stereo mode - slightly dry with triangle modulation only at 0.30

The raw sawtooth dry and then fully wet in quad mode for that vintage string sound at 0.50

Vamped filtered chords and played through the SE330 in the dimension mode. at 1.17

Slow attack and release but still the same raw sawtooth input. This time on quad mode with both triangle and sinewave modulation. at 1.33"

"Just to let you know that I've got a new PCB project available. This is based on the topology of the four stage stereo ensemble circuits of the VP330, RS505 and RS09. It also has modes to simulate other chorus and ensemble units.

It's not a clone but simply my version using currently available parts. However, it's a big project and is really designed to go into a 19" rack.
