"Roland synth from the 1970's. It has been gone through and given a good cleaning. No modifications have been made. The synth is original and plays beautifully. The tech who did the work said it was an outstanding clean example of the 1970's SH-7... FIVE OF THE SLIDERS HAVE NON ORIGINAL CAPS. SMALL DENT IN THE STEEL IN THE BACK. SMALL PIECE OF COVERING THE SIZE OF A QUARTER MISSING FROM SIDE."

"This unique pedal is one of an early range comprising this, the FK1, the FK2 Mr. Multi and the FK3 expression pedal. It would also be of the same era as the infamous Keio (Korg) Synthesizer Traveler.

The unit is in excellent condition and functions perfectly. It is missing one of the red caps from the 'traveler' slider heads, and there is the odd knock in the paint - apart from that, as you can see in the photos - it's in very tidy condition indeed."

" Rhodes Chroma in excellent condition! The Chroma includes the Enabler contoller(and power cord/midi connector) , brand new flight case for Chroma, original pedals. the Enabler wood is cherry with a finish to match the Chroma cherry wood and finish. Reworked by New England Analog(NEA) who performed the following service.If you go to NEA's website and gallery,you can see photos of this exact Chroma.
removed all wood surfaces, stripped and resanded the cherry wood and finished in cherry finish with three coats of PU
all electrolytic capacitors replaced.
replaced PSU with Luca Sasdelli's switching power supply kit which was the Chroma's weakest point. Chroma now generates no heat upon touch and is incredibly stable.
Added Chris Borman's, After touch Pressure Sensor Kit. Chroma now has aftertouch which can easily be adjusted with the Enabler.
Added the CPU Plus CC+ software PCB which adds further operating stability and better midi control.This feature increases the standard 50 patches to 200 patches and allows the Chroma to be controlled by Randall Osborne's Enabler which is now marketed by NEA.
For those unfamiliar with the Chroma, you can find basic info on Vintage Synth Explorer or Soundonsound, but the primary source of information in on the Rhodes Chroma website which contains significant information about the Chroma and all the upgrades performed on this unit.Here are the basics:

Polyphony-16 voices with 1 OSC per voice or 8 voice with 2 Osc per voice
64 note velocity sensitive full size keys including polyphonic aftertouch
Oscillators -mix of saw and variable pulse waveforms
Filters- switchable low and high pass .16 different configurations including parallel, in series,variable mix, ring mod, FM mod, band pass, notch filtering.
VCA- ADSR type
Transpose, split, and two patch link capability
Autotune
Memory-200 patches
LFO- 16 different waveforms
Midi controllable"

The mouse with its two axis of control and three buttons allows for a fun interface. This version is the first that has the note bending feature. I will be adding an opto isolator so the controller can read MIDI data. This will allow me to play the LittleBits Synth kit using MIDI.

At the moment I have not trimmed the CV scaling to give correct note spacing but it is close enough for this demo."

"Here is a demo of the Roland D2 workstation. All sounds in this demo are the D2; no EQ, no mixer even. The signal is routed straight into my audio interface. The drums are affected by the D2's lo-fi effect and there is a bit of internal reverb on each of the parts as well. There is some delay on the chord stabs.

Although visually a bit off-putting, the D2 has immense potential as a production tool. The sequencer is easy to use, the drums are quite comprehensive (the standard 808+909 but you even get the 707 and 606!) and it doesn't take up much space. You really do need a computer to do legit editing of the synths, though."

"My MAQ16/3 self edits to whatever values are set on pots in a random fashion on all channels. This video shows 3 rows of 16 notes every note programmed to low C or Minimum value and saved to preset 6. If the pots are all at min or max there is no problem but any other setting will show changes to pitch values at random times without any pot being moved. First note changes at 0:40 and a couple more later. Midi channels 1,2 & 3 go to 3X Dark energy Mk1 synths. Is this normal behaviour for the MAQ16/3?"
