"Original Vintage Linn Drum with vintage forat Midi board. Great condition, very clean. It has some minor cosmetic blemishes associated with the normal use of a vintage instrument. A few chips in the oak end-caps. Very good overall condition. The sliders and pots are very smooth.

Recent service including a new battery circuit that replaces the NiCad batteries with lithium and eliminates the charging circuit."

"Vintage ARP 2800 Odyssey MKI with CV and audio jacks. original 4023 filter. This is another one of the earliest blackface arp odysseys and it's only slightly newer than the other one i listed recently.

Recent service and full calibration. Very clean. The keyboard plays very well and has had brand new bushings installed. It has half a dozen keys that are faded, but the whole keybed has been cleaned and all are original to this keyboard. I've recapped the power supply to ensure factory a spec performance. This is a great example of a very original odyssey. At the time of the recent service it appeared that none of the PCB boards, the power supply, or keyboard had ever been removed. All screws still had their red paint seals intact. The main A B and C boards still have not been removed. The faders do slide and function. The Waveform select switch for the Sample and Hold mixer has broken off so that it is flat. It does work and move as it should, but has to be moved with something that can reach it. Fortunately, that switch is pretty rarely used; so, i chose to leave it original. This is a great playing synthesizer. It scales, plays in tune well, and sounds great.

100% working as-described or it's returnable, as covered by ebay policy. This is a great synthesizer. I've tried to show the condition the best i can in the pictures. I'll try and put a picture of the inside up asap.

Additionally for the purchaser, it is guaranteed for 90 days including: parts, labor, and technical support."

"This is a 117 volt north american unit, not a japanese import. Early 12 bit model serial number 040157 I was told it could have been #157 off the production line, but I can't confirm it (never been able to decode roland's numbering system).

All jupiter eights sound great, but vary slightly. The earlier ones tend to sound a little less precise, more 'fat'. I prefer the sound of the early ones. Ive owed three, and this is my favorite of those, it sounds lovely."

KORG PROPHECY Synthesizer 1995 | HD DEMO | PATCHES

Published on Nov 13, 2014 AnalogAudio1

KORG Prophecy's on eBay

"(c) 2014 by AnalogAudio1

You can buy these patches for your KORG PROPHECY - read the description for further details (scroll down).

Synthesizer demo of the Korg Prophecy. There were no external effects or eq used - everything comes directly from the Prophecy's outputs.

The Korg Prophecy from 1995 combines the looks of a Korg 707 and a Korg Trinity! It is a very complex monophonic synthesizer. It is almost too complex for a monophonic synth. It has 5 different synthesis models (all physical modeling). It can be played very expressively thank to its 3 wheels and ribbon controller (like on a Micromoog). Very useful are the "performance editor" knobs. You can assign the most parameters to these. It has a built in effects processor including reverb, delay, overdrive, wah and modulation effects. It also has a flexible arpeggiator.

The Korg Prophecy has been used by Jean-Michel Jarre, the Prodigy, Jan Hammer, Appolo 440, Depeche Mode, Rick Wakeman, Orbital, The Orb among others...

_______________________________________________

THE SOUND PROGRAMS IN THIS MOVIE:

If you are a Korg Prophecy owner: would you like to use these fantastic sounds with your synth for your music?

The new professional "AnalogAudio1 PROPHECY PATCH BANK" costs 12,99 Euros and offers you 64 highly useful patches. It delivers a wide range of fantastic vintage synth sounds: fat basses, Moog-style leads, interesting formant vocal sounds, percussive sequencer/arpeggiator sounds, lovely sweeps, chords, lush string machine leads, some analogue S&H and industrial effects... In other words: everything you hear in the video and more...

These patches were created from scratch. You won't hear any "acoustic" pluck or wind instruments - just fine electronic sounds! On every single patch, the Prophecy's "performance editor" knobs were assigned to relevant parameters of the sound - this gives you quick access to the most effective tweaks (like performed in the video). It allows you to tailor the sound easily to your needs (or to create new sounds quickly). One performance knob allows you always to shut off the reverb/delay for studio purposes.

The "AnalogAudio1 Prophecy Patchbank" turns your Prophecy into a new synth!

As an experienced synth player and composer I created these patches for professional use.
The sounds are not available anywhere else.

After payment through PayPal I will send you the patchbank via email in .SYX format (system exclusive) for the MIDI-OX software (download it for free). Included is a patch list (list with names of the patches).

If you want to buy the "ANALOGAUDIO1 PROPHECY PATCHBANK", send a message to ceramic-man@gmx.de (and check your spam folder, I answer quickly)."

Buchla 296e - Audio Extraterrestrial DNA

Published on Nov 13, 2014 djangosfire

"A fast and furious patch trying out a new Buchla 296e Spectral Processor.

A single square wave from a DIY 144 clone, patched into the 296e. Then I patched a 261e audio rate LFO into the "morph" of the 296e.

Patched the "all" out from the 296e into a 292e LPG.

By manually adjusting the frequency of the 261e (very slight bit).... I was able to coax these tones - and a visual light show as a bonus :)

Hope to get some good audio quality recordings over the next few weeks..... but for now, wanted to share this patch.

Cheers, Djangosfire

That's it!"

"buchla style 296 programmable spectral processor , one knob missing, it was functional in a buchla system but unfortunately i don't have a system to test it now, one knob broke when we took it out of the system but its an easy . some people say that it sounds better than the original because the original produces a lot of hiss maybe true maybe not but still its a great module and since the cost for an original buchla 296 is about 19000$ if you are lucky to find one , well this is a bargain. there you have it buchlas version of a vocoder."

"The 2600 brain and 3604-P keyboard were recently repaired and serviced to bring it up to spec by Andy Jury at Synthprof, and are still covered by their service warranty until the 1st January 2015."

"As you can see it packs down into two protective cases and comes with the original 2600 manual, recet repair receipts, service history dating back to 2011, mains cable, interface cable (keyboard to brain) and a large collection of patch cables.

It is in fantastic condition for it's age and though it is not perfect cosmetically (various nicks in the tolex, a modification to the side of the case where the mains socket has been replaced/updated and two small melt marks on two keys of the 3604-P) none of these hamper its performance in any way and are very minor when taking into account the vintage nature of this instrument.

The serial number is 2601-0*5*.

Here is some information about this model:

Based on the serial number it is most likely from 1976 and is a grey decal model 2601 v.1 with the larger front panel and improved jacks & sliders, but still has the disputed 4102 Moog style filter.

It was followed in 1977 by the models with the orange decals and a different filter which most people don't like (and believe has a design fault).
The general consensus is that this is the best model to have apart, possibly, from the very early ones.

From Vintage Synth Explorer:
"The first 2601 models looked nearly identical to the last 2600P models.
The major differences were improved jacks and slider controls and smaller trim holes. They were also still using the disputed 4012 filters during their production run from 1975-76."
