"Playing with the Ninstrument TENuation module.
Simple patch...
uLFO as master clock and modulation source:
Clock into O|D and sine out into TENuation which feeds Morphing Terrarium Morph Z input.

O|D sends CV to MorphTerr 1v/oct input and gate to Modcan quad Envelope which opens an Oakley VCA being fed by the MorphTerr Z output.
Sine out from uLFO split out to O'Tool so you see non-attenuated signal and variable turns of TENuation module.

Oakley VCA into DubMix with Erbe-Verb on Aux1 giving some delay...I increase Size and Decay towards the end of the shot."

"PLEASE NOTE: I bought this in 1998, and the A-series was the only series they had at the time. Also, it is not exactly the same as the current A-series; it is an older version. The main difference that I know of (and mostly inconvenient if you want to add current modules) is that on the original 1998 Modcan, the modules have three-prong pins and plug into a three-prong female power supply plugs. Now, apparently, it is a four-prong system. Thus, on the two Cynthia modules I have--and she advised me to do this--I had to cut the three-prong female power supply cable and rewire it to a four-prong female power supply cable (which she provided). No soldering, just electrical tape (as you can see in the picture). It seems to work fine. Anyhow, if you want to replace some modules (see below under "Known Issues") or add modules for the three remaining spaces, you'll have to take into account this issue. I'm sure Modcan would supply the female plugs/cables like Cynthia did.

Just some insight on how I record tracks lately, straight off the RYTM VCA. Later, if needed, I'll tape-splice style edit to shorten or re-arrange.

Waldorf Blofeld demo

"I wrote this piece of music to demonstrate the wonderful sonic capabilities of the Waldorf Blofeld Keyboard (mine is the limited edition black version). All the sounds in this track (including the drums) are original sounds which were programmed by myself from scratch on the Blofeld. No presets or other instruments were used. It was recorded using Logic; a few bits of EQ, compression, reverb and delay were added to the mix. The video was shot using an iPhone 4 and edited in iMovie HD.

"the name "deco" is formed from decoration, that is mainly what this FX does. it garnishes your sound with a mixture of different FX.

i put it far over the max settings, so you can better hear the differences, in real it should not be used this way ;-)

i like this FX very much, i use saturation on drums and on the sum of the mix, the other FX (chorus, phaser, stereo widener, etc.) i use with Synths."
