Miditure for iPhone Released

"Miditure is a MIDI controller app for the iPhone, it can be used to control any instruments, apps, software and hardware that accept MIDI input.

Miditure has been designed to exploit the expressive potential offered by 3D Touch capable devices (iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus), but is compatible with older devices as well.

Miditure includes a pad controller for sending MIDI note messages and an XY pad (XYZ pad if used with a 3D Touch capable device) for sending MIDI control change messages.

Each of the nine configurable pads can send from 1-4 notes with velocity, and on 3D Touch capable devices, polyphonic aftertouch.
Velocity can be set to use the devices accelerometer or can be determined from the location of the touch that triggered the pad.

The XY (XYZ) pad can be configured to send control change messages for up to 3 controls per axis.

NOTE/CHORD PAD FEATURES:

- Independent polyphonic aftertouch on 3D Touch capable devices (6s and 6s Plus)
- Nine fully configurable pads for sending notes and chords
- Each pad can play from 1-4 notes
- 3 velocity modes: impact (using the accelerometer), position (vertical), and fixed
- 7 velocity curves
- The impact velocity sensitivity can be adjusted

XY (XYZ) PAD FEATURES:

- z input (touch pressure) on 3D Touch capable devices (6s and 6s Plus)
- 3 assignable Control Change outputs per axis; control up to 9 parameters at a time with one finger.
- Adjustable range for each Control Change output.

GENERAL FEATURES:

- Controls apps locally using coreMIDI, or control external software and hardware over Wi-Fi, or by using a compatible interface.
- Save and load configurations

PLEASE NOTE:

- This is a MIDI controller, not an instrument, it does not make any sound itself.
- The app can use bluetooth MIDI on compatible devices if the connect is established by another app, it does not have the capability to establish the connect itself."

"Couldn't resist. Picked up a Roland JP-08. The YouTube peer pressure was too much. I buckled like a belt.

Made a little 4 bar sequence and rode the HPF and VCF cutoff all the way to grandma's house on default patch 11.

Sounds better than I thought. She's a keeper. Small faders are a bit of a challenge, but my acreage is limited so I'm glad it's compact.

ROLAND Jupiter 8 12-bit Vintage analog synthesizer in very good playable condition. It sounds INCREDIBLE! Cosmetically very nice with only a few scratches from normal use. A couple of the pots are a bit scratchy sounding when adjusted. I would recommend a general servicing as it has not been serviced in a while.
Rare JLCooper "PATCH 120" three bank memory expansion installed and it works!
DCB connector was installed after purchase (untested)

INSTRUMENT HISTORY & OWNERS:
This JP8 was originally owned and purchased new by Chris Rhyne. Chris was the studio and touring keyboardist for Gino Vannelli, Santana and Jean Luc Ponty. Also, it was part of his on screen arsenal of keyboards for his 10 year run as musical director on the Merv Griffin show in the 80's. He told me that he backed up everyone from Streisand to Pavarotti with this incredible synth. Also owned by lead singer of VERY famous rock band that's in the Grammy hall of fame."

OB-Xa - Recently serviced and overhauled (for well over $1000). Including all new J wires, bushings, NOS curtis chips, caps, gating chips, opamps, battery, pots cleaned, contacts cleaned and fully calibrated (including mod / bend section). Keybed is great and plays like new. Some scratches on top. All knobs and buttons are there. Sounds totally amazing!

Oberheim DX Stretch - Recently serviced. Including new battery and all sliders & contacts cleaned. "This is a vintage (1978) Muson Synthesizer toy. It works, but the switches and dials are a little bit scratchy, so the internal electrical connectors will likely need to be cleaned. Some of the colored selector pins are missing, and the purple one does't work, but the rest do. The labels show some slight moisture damage. The box and manual are not included."

"Up for sale is a Vintage 1978 Muson Synthesizer by Mego Corp. in the Original Box. This is such a fun vintage electronic synthesizer that is still used in studios today that allows you to create endless sounds & rhythms or play simple tunes on the piano type keyboard. This is in great working condition and has been well tested. The unit itself is very clean and shows minimal to no signs of use. The decals are intact & vibrant in color on the battery compartment and along the top of the keys. There is some discoloration from the vintage adhesive (see pictures). All 10 colorful plugs are present including the 'black C plug' which is necessary to have to be sure the synthesizer generates the proper sounds before each use. There is a manual that was found in the box, it looks to me like a photo copy from years ago as this unit is colorful and I would think the manual would reflect the same. It explains your steps in using this synthesizer and the different functions it is capable of doing. This can make some really neat old school sounds from arcades, robots and space sounds. I understand why there are so few that come up for sale as this piece is a timeless treasure and is still used in studios today and it makes a nice curiosity display piece! This comes in the original box with one Styrofoam insert to hold it in place. The box shows some storage wear and some taping on the bottom and is missing some of the side art from possible tape removal. This requires 4 C batteries not included."
