Arp Avatar Synthesizer with Original Hex Pickup

"This is a sale for one vintage Arp Avatar CV synthesizer/guitar synth with original Arp hex pickup (that can be installed onto an electric guitar).This is essentially the same as a vintage original Arp Odyssey as a module without the keyboard (but can be controlled by any Midi to CV controller). It can also be used as a guitar synth with a very unique sounding fuzz made famous by bands like Genesis. Because this is a used piece it is sold as is, working and in good condition (please look at pictures, some sliders don't have caps but still work). All analog synths do need servicing for scratchy sliders or pots and the Avatar/Odyssey sliders tend to be a bit stiff. The sound of it is incredible! The classic Arp sound. A poor man's Arp 2600 sonically (or their answer to the Minimoog). You can also run outside sounds through the built-in analog processing. It's a vintage toolbox of sound design."

"Up for auction a Kurzweil K250 synthesizer in fully working, fully RESTORED condition. it looks awesome, works the same. All 12 voices are incredible.

Keyboard:

K250 has an unique full weight wood keyboard which is built on the same way as a piano with balance-beams. It was cleaned with the passion, every wooden key was checked, adjusted and lubricant was added to the mechanics. It fills like new when you play it with right action and the response.

Technical:

Keyboard is running OS6.2 (latest OS6) and has all motherboard sockets populated with sound banks. These are Soundblocks A, B,C, D.

It has SUPERRAM-II option installed, (extremely RARE) which 4x increases the capacity of original CGP Digitizer. It's fully checked for the operation and very easy to use.

Also hard to believe but the RAM Cartridge, which is another RARE option, is included too.

It also has QLS interface installed, and QLS -to- Macintosh cable is included. I can make an Apple Macintosh with the programs and sound sets for K250 if required.

Front panel has all sliders cleaned up and the LCD display was replaced to VFD one. it looks nice and bright. I'm also including blue color filter, but understand you may not like a blue color, so it's not mounted. It comes with 3M adhesive, easy install in 1 sec. See the pic, it's awesome look.

Power Supply was also cleaned. It's a second revision, runs stable.

Finally, a set of K250 DEBUG chips are included too. That's for the future needs and hope you never need it.

Other details:

K250 comes with the ORIGINAL shipping box which has a palette directly attached(yes, it's fun box). It was stored in the box most of its life and has minimal wear. This also means that I can ship it anywhere without additional packaging. But the shipment will come in two packages anyways, - huge box on palette with K250 and Power supply (incl. manuals) in another separate box.

You'll receive:

1. Kurzweil K250 with Soundblocks A-D, SuperRamII in the original box

2. RAM Cartridge

3. Power Supply (combined with foot pedals)

4. Many Manuals and some spare parts such as original LCD.

5. QLS cable to connect it to a Macintosh"

BURG - Album Movement 04 (KORG volca, Roland Aira, ms-20, Elektron, JX03, Novation Circuit)

Alright, this is the fourth album movement, what happened to number three you might ask? Well.. you might hear it, you might not, not really sure about that one so ill leave it for now. Time will tell.

Anyways, I Introduced the novation circuit on this one, it does one of the main sequences plus the bassline together with one of the volcas (using MIDI). Also, some of the percussions are added with the novation, pretty nice piece of kit if you ask me.

So, trying to lift this one up a bit.. with some sharper melodies and chord progressions to give it a less static flow, let me know what you think about it. Also, this time as you can see im playing around a bit with visuals.. feeding a couple of webcams into VJ software, pretty fun stuff :)

Audio is the 2 track edit, 16 tracks will be mixed and polished if this one ends up on the album. in the mean time, Play it loud and Enjoy!

"Because some people asked me where this acid sound came from in my last Retro Acid House track https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yUtF4...[posted here], I decided to make a little demo of the synth playing the acid line.
The synth is called MB 33 Retro and manfactured by MAM. It's the desktop re-edition of a 19 inch rack 303 clone from the mid 90s. This means, it's an analog monophonic bass synthesizer with one oscillator, a resonant low pass filter, autoslide and accent.

The demo presents the synth's basic parameters, first with the pure, unprocessed sound, later on with delay (TC Electronic Alter Ego X4 Vintage Echo) and distortion (Line 6 POD).
Because the MB 33 doesn't have an own sequencer it receives Midi notes from the Korg Electribe Sampler. At times, the ES plays a basic beat to support the acid lines."
