"An analog organismic synthesither for soundscapes, FXs, pads and complex textures. The term "Organismic” means that all its modules are intertwined by many nonlinear connections and work in an entangled state, modifying each other, much like organs and systems in live beings. That allows for getting complex, diverse, fluid textures from a relatively simple construction."

VirSyn's Addictive Pro for the iPad Now Available

iTunes: Addictive Pro - VirSyn

You can find two demo videos previously posted here and here.

"The hybrid synthesis algorithm on which Addictive Pro is based provides you with efficient means for easy control of complex sounds far beyond usual sound synthesis methods:

Addictive Pro provides you a with unique form of Wavetable oscillators. These Wavetables are generated from the harmonic content and the free digital filter structure entered by the user.

The sound of up to 12 of this Wavetable oscillators is then further refined with a classic analog filter available in several 24dB and 12dB forms.

For the optional noise part of the sound you can use the same sophisticated digital filter struct as for the wavetable oscillators allowing for a vast variety of ever changing noisescapes.

The intelligent sound and rhythm randomizer can be applied to different sound aspects separately for really useful sound design and inspiration.

A four part polyrhythm Arpeggiator creates complex rhythmical structures with a touch of a finger.

"Waldorf Microwave XT. I love this synth but selling all my gear. Great synthesizer comes with original power supply and in quality used condition. The only thing that needs mentioned is that there is one missing knob and a few others that are cracking not sure how this happened but they have broken down a bit over the years, doesn't effect the playability of the synth at all."

The "silo" knobs breaking down on this model of the Waldorf XT and XTk appears to be a somewhat common problem. The knobs on my XTk have not broken down yet, but they are beginning to feel a little "gummy", and believe me, it has never been abused. Members of the MIDIBox.org forum occasionally have group buys for the newer style knobs found on the later models of the Waldorf Q.

Lexicon Primetime 93 with Yamaha DX7 and DX27

Note: Auction links are affiliate links for which the site may be compensated.
Published on Sep 18, 2016 Christopher Anderson

"Brief general demo of Prime Time broad basic features"

SN E2666 via this auction

"Clean and fully functional Lexicon Prime Time Dual Digital Delay Processor. I've owned this Prime Time for about 5 years and used it frequently without any problems. Includes original manual with a lot of interesting patch examples for all sorts of panning delays and stereo modulation delay effects. It's really worth having the manual and they're not always that easy to come by.

There are two separate digital delays that share a feedback architecture with isolated (and bussed) inputs and outputs, making this a very unique processing unit. The delays can be externally modulated by a passive expression pedal or 0-10v CV (including LFOs, function generators, etc).

Has balanced ins and outs, with switchable 0/+20db input gain.

The one thing I'd mention is that it's easy to overload the input if you don't send the proper signal level. There is no input overload indicator, and the input and signal chain will become over-modulated until the proper signal level is restored. This has happened to me several times. Lately, I typically use a direct box before the input to give me more control over my input signal (to avoid this clipping problem). Please reference the included Owners Manual for input signal level details.

The sliders are at about 97% clean. Occasionally at the top or bottom of a slide I'll hear a grain of static, but on the whole they're pretty clean."

RT-311 Swarm Oscillator: Short Demo Video 1

Published on Sep 17, 2016 Jörg Schaaf

"OK - I have to admit that I had some saturation from time to time at the VCA but beside that, you get a first impression, what you can do with snapshot recalls. After tweaking the knobs a little bit I show the remote control via the data output. So, I am controlling the Cutoff frequency of the RT-451 filter. Then I recall some oscillator snapshots. Beside interpolating between these snapshots they can also be used to recall fixed settings. In this example I synchronised the internal LFO of the swarm oscillator and recall the snapshots with that LFO as presets. Every eight steps it increases the snapshot number by one.

Afterwards I play a cluster, tune the beast up with that cluster, change it to a chord and tine it down again. That video represents only a few of the swarm oscillators features. Our first shipments will be done by the end of october 2016."
