"Bass Bot TT-303
Now with the same case as the TT-606 and TT-78!

The TT-303 from Cyclone Analogic is a reproduction of the most coveted bass synthesizer units, the TB-303. It is an analog, monophonic synthesizer with a built in sequencer, perfect for generating phat acid basslines for almost any style of electronic music. Its layout and circuit design is identical to the original, as well as its functionality, but has been made using 21st century technology and components.

The sequencer uses the classic step-entry programming that was present on the original TB-303, and holds up to 224 editable patterns, along with another 224 non-editable patterns. 'Songs' up to 127 bars can be saved in a bank of 7, all being stored in flash memory, which means it will stay programmed even after the unit is powered down.

Roland Boutique Start - TR-09 Rhythm Composer Tutorial

Published on Dec 15, 2016 RolandChannel

"This video is a short tutorial on the Roland Boutique TR-09 Rhythm Composer.

0:14 Step Recording Mode
2:02 Realtime Recording Mode
2:45 Trigger Sync with TB-03

The influence of the TR-909 drum machine is still heard—and felt—more than three decades after it was launched. Now, the 909 sound is available as part of the Roland Boutique series in the form of the TR-09.

Featuring the same front-panel layout and user interface of the original, the TR-09 is powered by Roland’s ACB technology, delivering the speaker-pummelling power of the TR-909 in a super-affordable and portable format. Offering precise control over an array of drum parameters and the ability to keep playing when switching modes, the TR-09 may be compact, but it still has the power to move people.

Studio sessions are well catered for too, with four separate outputs via USB audio, external instrument control via a trigger output, and USB MIDI."

Roland SH-101 Monophonic Analog Synthesizer | Reverb Demo Video

Published on Dec 15, 2016 Reverb.com

"Crafted from 1982 to 1986, the Roland SH-101(http://bit.ly/2hAy4RX) is a 32 key analog monophonic bass synthesizer. Its distinct sound can be recognized on many techno and acid house tracks and its simple layout makes it an accessible vintage synth. We’ll give you a run through of some of its key features, including a single VCO with independent levels for square and pulse waves and a great sounding sub-oscillator.

There’s an LFO and adjustable filter with a variety of tone shaping options, and a section for adding portamento and pitch bends on the fly.

Finally, there’s a built in arpeggiator and sequencer with external clock inputs for syncing, CV/GATE Inputs and outputs, and a CVB hold pedal. If you find one with everything in tact, you’ll also have the option to use it as a keytar with an attachable hand grip.

"Audio and Video by G-Storm Electro c.2016

In this video I explain and demo the features of the Korg 770 Monophonic Synthesizer. This one is currently available on Reverb. The 770 inherits a lot of DNA from the Minikorg 700/700S models, and it's design is the predecessor to the MS-20 model.

The features are staggering for such a simple looking synthesizer:
- External Input for the filter
- Highpass and Lowpass filter w/ variable resonance (Bright)
- a kind of Pulse Width Modulation (Chorus)
- two forms of ring modulation
- Scale Noise, a noise source which tracks w/ keyboard pitch
- OSC1 vibrato w/ delayed onset
- Automatic pitch-bend, Goldfrapp anyone?
- LFO trigger mode for the Envelopes"

FLOWs Algorithmic Loop Sequencer for Native Instruments' Reaktor Player

Published on Dec 13, 2016 Tim Exile

"FLOWs is an algorithmic loop sequencer for building evolving sonic structures from beats to textures. Download it for FREE at the shop https://tim-exile.myshopify.com/produ..."

"FLOWs is an algorithmic loop sequencer packed with 1GB+ of royalty-free loops meticulously curated from improvised jams on my Flow Machine from the last 5 years. Explore, mutate and create sonic structures with audio-reactive sculpting and stochastic modulation. Or let it play and zone out to the visualiser: it's for makers and listeners alike.

- Layer and cross-modulate up to 4 loops at once with filters and envelopes that follow the sonic imprint of each loop.

- Switch between loops mid-way without losing sync. Modulate loop switching with random and cyclical LFOs.

- Layer multiple loops without phase distortion and clashing bass using Clearsum.

You'll need to grab a copy of Native Instruments' Reaktor Player to run it. There are instructions for how to do this in the included manual. If you want to save your changes or use it for more than 30 minutes at a time you will need to buy a full Reaktor licence."

Moog THE SOURCE synth dust cover (design #1) by Stardust Synth Covers

Note: Auction links are affiliate links for which the site may be compensated.

via this auction

See the sellers other items for other synths. These are super nice. An interesting feature is they appear to have a velcro back panel so you can leave them all hooked up while covered. If you used MIDI or CV to control your synths remotely in the studio, you can leave the cover on. Be sure to check for your particular synth though, as I am not sure if this is the case for every cover.

Details on the quality put into the covers: "Dust is never gone, we’re all aware of that: dust is everywhere, and, whenever we remove dust, it always comes back. Then, it gets inside your most loved objects and instruments, cover your synth's components with crud which can lead to heat dissipation problems, and it also wrecks slider pots. Now, we also know that everybody wants to protect their synths from this everlasting and corrupting dust, from liquid spills, fading, and every kind of bangs and cracks.

Why? Because we all love our synths with unconditional love.

Our synth dust covers are the best expression of this love.

Why?

It took us two years of thorough and passionate research to find and develop the most proper materials for the product we had in mind.

Our covers will look like they were manufactured at the exact same time your synth was, as if they were twin brothers.

The vectorized synth designs are printed using UV Digital methood.

They have flaplike ducts for cables, in order to keep them connected even when your cover is on.

We’ll be working in order to continually develop new models, both for the most recent and the oldest synths.

This is a custom made product, manufactured exclusively in Portugal, a renowned country in the textile industry.

We would also like to let you know that our covers have several different designs which you can choose from, and are all made of synthetic leather, a layer of high density foam to provide protection and form the cover, as well as a delicate soft layer that will be in contact with the instrument."

Vermona ’14 Analogsynthesizer Monophonic Lead- and Bass-Synthesizer Now Available

You might remember back in October it was announced the Vermona '14 was entering production. It appears production has completed and there will only be a total of 222 units available. You can find previous posts on the Vermona '14 including video here.

Details on the release via Vermona:

"With the completion of the ’14 Analogsynthesizer, a long fostered dream becomes true: The design and realization of an uncompromising synthesizer for instrumentalists.

Equality of haptics and sound
To us, expressive play means a balanced relation between melodic virtuosity and sound shaping. In our ’14 Analogsynthesizer, these factors unite in full equality: Keyboard, pitch- and modulation-wheels are incomplete without the additional controls and switches of the remaining control surface. These offer direct access to each individual sound shaping parameter of the synthesis engine.

The ’14 Analogsynthesizer is perfectly suited for distinctive solo and bass sounds including dynamic and individual sonic variations which are completely under your control at any time.

Uncompromising circuit implementation
The components being responsible for the sound-generation and -shaping are based upon our proved and tested circuits of PERfourMER MKII and Mono Lancet ’15. However, we did not just carry over these circuits but have adapted and refined these specifically for the ’14 Analogsynthesizer. Besides stability and musicality, we paid great attention to an intuitive and practical scaling of each and every sound parameter.

The ’14 Analogsynthesizer follows the classic subtractive synthesis structure: a versatile lowpass molds the sound-source being created by two powerful analog oscillators. Typical for Vermona instruments, the sound is warm, round, classy and offers musical authority in the mix.

Handmade in our electroacoustic manufacture in Germany
There a hundreds of work steps from the assembly of the circuit boards to the final, rigorous quality assurance of the finished instrument. Without exception, these steps are carried out with skilled craftsmanship and expert precision in our Elektroakustische Manufaktur in Erlbach, Germany.

Each ’14 Analogsynthesizer is an outstanding instrument and leaves our manufacture as one of just 222 units."

"This wonderful vintage piece of synthesizer history comes from my husband's recording studio. I do not know anything about it, so I am selling it "AS - IS." I can't properly test it. Here's what I can tell you: I can see that it powers up and I hear a hum. Most of the lights come on and off and the display shows numbers on it. There are several keys that are sticky. There is a bit of a stain on the wood on the right hand side of the keyboard. It looks like something may have stuck to the wood. It isn't all that noticeable. This instrument comes from a clean, smoke free environment. Thank you for looking."

YAMAHA DX7IIFD Synthesizer 1987 + GREY MATTER E! | HD DEMO

Published on Dec 15, 2016 AnalogAudio1

"(c) 2016 by AnalogAudio1

Demo of the YAMAHA DX7IIFD digital synthesizer (frequency modulation synthesis) from 1987. I played it along with a Dynacord DRP 20 (reverb) and sometimes with a Korg SDD-3000 (delay).

The DX7II(F)D was the successor of the classic DX7 from 1983. This unit has the GREY MATTER E! expansion board installed, which was produced in the USA from 1987 to 1989. Even today it adds a lot of useful, additional capabilities to the DX7II(F)D/S. You get 256 RAM memories for patches, 8x multitimbrality (like the Yamaha TX802), chord memory, arpeggiator, a 16-track pattern sequencer (much like the Ensoniq ESQ-1's sequencer) and assignable sliders (assignable to most parameters of the sound engine - frequencies, envelopes, feedback level, operator output levels...).

Without a doubt, this expansion is a 'must have' for real DX7II fans."
