Roland Introduces New Stomp Box Style Drum Pads

1. Roland SPD::ONE WAV PAD Trailer

"The SPD::ONE WAV PAD is a new type of digital percussion pad, which allows any musician to play with their own sounds and samples. Individual wave audio files can be imported in to the SPD::ONE WAV PAD pad simply by connecting it to a PC or Mac; whether its full length backing tracks or one-shot samples, your sounds can be loaded and played in seconds. In this video, Roland artist Kaz Rodriguez connects the SPD::ONE WAV PAD to his computer via USB and copies his own click track and backing track directly onto the SPD::ONE WAV PAD drive.
We can hear the personal mix that Kaz himself hears via the phones output. While Kaz is performing, we can hear the track being played back from the SPD::ONE WAV PAD via the stereo master output."

he SPD::ONE ELECTRO is a new type of digital percussion pad, which allows any musician to add sounds to their performance; drummers, percussionist, guitarists, vocalists and producers have instant access to electronic and processed sounds with the SPD::ONE ELECTRO. The pad contains 22 legacy sounds, including hand claps, fat snares, 808 kicks, electronic cowbells and more. It also has the ability to import original audio data, such as one-shot samples into the internal memory and play them via the pad. In this video, Roland artist Kaz Rodriguez mounts the SPD::ONE ELECTRO pad within his drum kit and uses it to add tones and textures to his kit sound, inspiring and complimenting his performance."

3. Roland SPD::ONE PERCUSSION PAD Trailer

"The SPD::ONE PERCUSSION is a new type of digital percussion pad, which allows any musician to add sounds to their performance; drummers, percussionist, guitarists, vocalists and producers have instant access to genuine percussion sounds with the SPD::ONE PERCUSSION. The pad contains 22 percussion sounds, including snare drums, kicks drums, hi-hats, cymbals, shakers, tambourines and more. It also has the ability to import original audio data, such as one-shot samples into the internal memory and play them via the pad. In this video, Roland artist Vikaash Sankadecha mounts the SPD::ONE PERCUSSION pad within his set-up and plays it by hand, using it to add additional tones and textures to his percussion performance."

"The SPD::ONE KICK is a new type of digital percussion pad, which allows any musician to add sounds to their performance; drummers, percussionist, guitarists, vocalists and producers have instant access to genuine kick drum and percussion sounds with the SPD::ONE KICK. The pad contains 22 sounds, including kick drums, stomp box, jingles, cowbell and more. It also has the ability to import original audio data, such as one-shot samples into the internal memory and play them via the pad. The unique design of the SPD::ONE series pads enables them to be played with the foot, hand, or stick and can be floor or stand mounted, making them incredibly versatile. In this video, musician Michael Vickers mounts the SPD::ONE KICK pad at his feet and uses it to provide a four-on-the-floor beat to accompany his performance."
