Moog Source - Arpeggo

Published on Jan 13, 2018 100 Things I Do

"A quick demo with the Moog source Arpeggo sequencer.

The Source is one of those synths that when you look at the controls on the front panel you don't really expect much.

When it was new it was designed to be the direct and enhanced replacement for the Model D. It removed the third oscillator but added basic sequencing, LFO and oscillator sync!

It sounds somewhere between a Model D and a Rouge and has enough bass to blow your speakers. I had to roll off the bass a little in this clip just to keep it contained but on the whole this is the output on the Moog into a compressor then recorded."
