The Glitcher Panel - DIY Synth

Published on Oct 26, 2016 Eccentric Sound Lab

"The top panel, called 'The Glitcher,' of the box to the left is a DIY synthesizer currently being made. There will be two more panels under it. This video shows what this panel does. The button plays the sounds and there is a randomizer glitch switch. Its behavior is unpredictable, making sound creation very fun and exciting with where ever "the ghost in the machine" takes you..."

DIY Synthesizer - An up close look

Published on Aug 19, 2016 Trance Zero Space

"This is an up close look at what the home-made synthesizer, the 'ESL i-Lander,' can do. The synth is a combination of purposely short-circuited electronics from a toy keyboard and parts from a MIDI keyboard that utilize iPad effects applied to the short-circuited sounds. iPad programs used in this video were Turnado by Sugar Bytes (the effects applied through MIDI) and Cubasis (the DAW recording all audio)."

Looks like a steering wheel is attached to it. Imagine that for a knob. You could swap the Yamaha Montage's "super knob" with one.

"This is a rough demonstration of a home-made synthesizer named the 'ESL i-Lander.' The synth is a combination of purposely short-circuited electronics from a toy keyboard and parts from a MIDI keyboard that utilize iPad effects synthesis. iPad programs used are Audiobus, Loopy (to create loops from the audio of the ESL i-Lander), Turnado by Sugar Bytes (MIDI effects synthesis), and Cubasis (the DAW recording all audio)."

"Making sounds with a home-made synthesizer that is a combination of purposely short-circuited electronics from a toy keyboard and parts from a MIDI keyboard that utilize iPad effects applied to the short-circuited sounds. Toggle switches, a big button, and a small reset button were applied to the new, short-circuit sounds of the toy keyboard electronics."
