"One of the best parts of incorporating synthesizers into your music is that they can be used in a myriad of interesting ways—including as effects processors. Take a look around at the back (or perhaps front) panel of your synthesizers, and you might see a socket labeled "Ext. In." or something similar. This means that your synth can accept audio signal from an external instrument or mic source. In the video above, Natalie shows you how to harness the effects processing potential of your synths using some classics like Moog Grandmother and MiniMoog Model D, as well as the Korg Monologue, with a Wurlitzer piano."
