Soul Clap - Synthesizer Girlfriend ft. Ntem & HazMat Talkbox (Official Music Video)

Published on Feb 16, 2017 Crew Love

"Check out the premiere of the "Syntheisizer Girlfriend" video produced by our good friend Gabe Muniz-Alessio and featuring vocalist Ntem and Detroit talk box wizard HazMat!"

For more info on Synthesizer Girlfriend and our latest Album please visit: http://www.soulclap.us"

Some decent synth spotting in this one including a Moog Sub 37, 5U system (synthesizers.com?), and Roland Jupiter-8 amongst other gear. And just one of a handful of songs with synthesizer actually in the title - see the synth songs label below for more.

Synthesizers (Rough Mix) - The Hair Kid

YouTube via TheHairKid — April 06, 2010 —

"For a free mp3 download of this track, just subscribe and you'll receive a youtube message with the link and password to all of my tracks, or become a fan of The Hair Kid on facebook: http://www.facebook.com/pages/The-Hai... - once you're a fan you'll be able to see the link and password."
Lyrics in the description here.
"It features some tweaking of the seldom seen Syntecno TeeBee (mine is a MkIII), as well as a 1st gen Virus too. I also play and do some filter sweeping on a Juno 106, and there's some DX7 bassline and strings action (strings with the help of a script logo MXR Phase 100)"http://www.blogger.com/post-create.g?blogID=17775202

R.O. Manse - I have a Synthesizer

YouTube via chippope. via Sean.

"Available on "R.O.Magic: The Best Of R.O. Manse" on sale now at iTunes, Amazon and aspecialthing.com

Year: 1982
Director: Glenn Mobley"
Another track about the synthesizer. I just created a synth songs alias. Click on it for more. I do know I have others. I just need to find them when I have time. If you know of them feel free to comment or send them in. Note that the song has to be about a synthesizer, not just made with synths.

MCA & Burzootie - Drum Machine (1985)

YouTube via alittletreasure
"MCA and Burzootie - Drum Machine
from Def Jam 12" .
Produced and Mixed by Jay Burzootie Burnett
Edited by The Latin Rascals"

via Inteliko
"Stumbled on this on youtube, MCA from Beasties rhyming about drum machines..vocals are so heartfelt by me in regard to drum machines..left me smitten. Got to here these lyrics, mention of an oberheim dmx and a lexicon space station also.

"Burzooties on the mix most of the time, he works on the machines but he doesnt really rhyme"...genius vox.., 5:57 of rhymes like these with a fat drum break and electrofied efx."

Update via casio hardcore in the comments: "Classic tune! Just FYI: Jay Burnett originally released this song back in 1982 under the artist name of "Drum Machine". The 12" has a lyrical version (presumably with Jay rhyming) and the instrumental version. The version he does with MCA a few years later is the same song, same concept, different lyrics and different sounds. If you dig this version then I suggest you hunt down the original version ;)"

Electric Six - Synthesizer - Bringing Back the Synth Babes

YouTube via atreat4eye.

You can decide who it applies to in this video.
There's some juicy male babe for the ladies and the men that swing that way.
Interesting trivia on this video: the background synths were shot at Analogue Haven.

video description:
"Guy Perry stars in Electric Six "Synthesizer," directed by Chris Chambless. Electric Six previously brought you the hot and sexy, xxx song 'Gay Bar.' Bikini girls, Muscle Beach, the Moog, and a Naked Guy are featured prominently in this synth-beat, electro piece. 'You can't ignore my Techno.'"

Spot the synths.
