Erica Syntrx vs EMS VSC3 The Putney (Part Two)

"Part 2 of the Comparison demos between the Erica Synths Syntrx and the EMS Synthi models (Synthi AKS and VCS3 - The Putney).
The video highlights some obvious differences between the two including the pin Matrix and controls. There is a simple square wave, pulse width, filter and reverb test then we get into some experimental 'Noisy' patches to compare the sound of the two. This is not a musical comparison but aims to compare Sound and Timbre of the two synths based on a few patches.
Decent headphones or speakers are recommended.

ARP 2500 - isolation 01

The 2500 is being sequenced by a Roland TB 303.
The 303's Gate is triggering the 1046 quad envelope generator.
The 1004-P VCO is sequenced by CV from the 303.
A second VCO 1004-T is running in LFO mode and also modulation the 1046.

"Some more sounds from the 1045 voice module of the ARP 2500.
There are two 1045 modules in this video.
I used a 1023 VCO to modulate the filter of the first 1045.
The 1016 noise and random nodule is also used to trigger some envelopes of the 1045s.

"Initial trials of the 3TrinsRGB + 1c - It's a analog audio/video synth.
I just finished building this from a kit & I'm loving it so much.

Lots of fun. The filter is wonderful ... getting heaps of lovely resonant & bubbly TB 303 sounds.
I've used a vintage 258 (square wave section) as the audio source.

The Output Amplifier section (lower right) is very special with its voltage control over amplitude, location & reverb.

No post audio processing has been done on the video."

The 1004 oscillator is the most versatile in the series (1004T, 1004R, 1004p) R & P stand for Rocker & Pot.
