Vintage Korg PS-3200 For Sale

"Here we have something special! The famous Korg PS3200. Known for its super sounds and for being one of the first programmable synths in the 70-ties. It is full polyphonic and features 2 OSCs per voice (!). This is a nice synth. Bigger brother to the PS3100 (only 1 OSC per voice, no memory). Versatile machine with lots of routing possibilities and patchable too. Famous monster synth as used by great bands and artists! 'That' sound..! Good condition, some signs of age, original wood.

Included is the PS-3010 Polyphonic Keyboard (which has some nice features and tricks!), original Honda multi pin connection cable and new mains cable.

This synth was recently serviced and is ok. A lot of work has been done like all new caps and many logic IC's replaced. Everything works and it is ready to play...♫♫

Please have a look at the pictures and see for yourself. Please check my 100% positive, music/synth/studio related feedback. I'm a serious and professional seller AND packer."

Misc Showers

Misc Showers from Peter Speer on Vimeo.

"Transforming a pulse stream into a variety of rainfall sounds: 'Hurricane Under a Tarp' (starting at 0:02), 'Rain On a Tin Shack' (starting at 0:40), 'Carwash' (starting at 0:54), 'Gutter Dripping on a Metal Plate' (starting at 1:12), 'Rapidly Heating Pipes' (starting at 1:27) and finally 'Storm At Sea' (starting at 2:03).

The tone source in this patch is the Telharmonic's Noise output, fed into a QMMG VCA, opened by Maths Ch. 4 and sent through a band pass filter (QMMG Ch. 3 and 4 in high and low pass filter modes respectively). This is then passed into Clouds (in Clocked Delay mode) and from there to the Erbe-Verb, which does most of the heavy lifting.

The DPO (in LFO mode), Wogglebug, Pressure Points and Maths (Ch. 1) all provide modulation, and TEMPI supplies the timing information.

I particularly liked 'Gutter Dripping on a Metal Plate' (starting at 1:12), 'Rapidly Heating Pipes' (starting at 1:27).

Update: link fixed.

"Metal beat! The Roland CR-78, is it the best drum machine of all time? It is definitely a distinctive and revered instrument, notably providing the backing for countless electronic innovators. This one is very clean, with very good looking tolex for its age, only a little scratch on the logo on the panel, and a little oxidation on the jacks. This machine is fully functional and sounds tremendous. This classic rhythm box includes the Future Retro Swynx (with TRS to stereo TS cable), a Midi/Din Sync converter box which also adds time divisions, swing, and write switch capability for user programming."

Blue Lantern Modules Re-Releases Model: LM4250 Sour VCF based on the Polivoks

"Analog Filter, VCF

width:6hp
current: 9mA, -9mA
depth: 1.5 inches

What does this do?

This is an analog filter based on the polivoks vcf. This particular design uses the programmable LM4250 IC op amp to do it's filtering. There are some additional circuits not found on the classic original. The brite and dark switch is one of them. It allows for some decimator sounding timbres. There is also a diode limiter to allow the user to explore very high resonance settings. This is selected by switch also.

Controls: Cutoff, Rez, Bi-polar FM modulation, and Audio Input level.

Jack inputs: (2) CV direct jacks, FM input, and Audio input.
Jack Ouputs: Low pass filter, band Pass filter.

Price: $150.00"

Moog Mother 32 Patch Tip

Published on Feb 5, 2016 PaulLawlerMusic

"Patch 'Gate out' into VCO LIN FM for the illusion of a 2nd Osc playing 1 octave and a tone higher. Useful for high and fast sequences.

EDIT: I just discovered it's almost ientical to the patch 'Octave Bounce Back' in the manual. However, if you patch into Mix1 rather than mix2, you can get a semitone higher."

Rare Microtech SCSI Compact Flash Card Reader for Sampler

Note: Auction links are affiliate links for which the site may be compensated.

via this auction

Thought this one was interesting. I've never seen one before. A little bit of synthesizer accessory history. Curious if these were made specifically for synths or just as a SCSI compact flash drive in general.

"Used to pair with a sampler for compact flash card storage. I'm used this successfully with a Roland s760, Akai s1000 & s5000, and a Yamaha a3000 & a5000. Plenty to read up on the net about these.

240V - will include a SCSI cable, power cable and nine 512MB compact flash cards."
