"This is a flatulent acid house beat. The acid is utilising a WMD/SSF Spectrum which is being modulated in a few ways by the SSF Ultra-Random Analogue filtered through a Epoch Modular Twin peaks VCF. Sequenced by Rene. I really wanted to give the Acid line a Dry breathy sound rather than a classic wet acid style. The noise from the Ultra Random Analogue helps give that character. The twin beaks also has some of the Ultra-Random Analogue output from Channel A at a high rate to mix with the Spectrum."

Blofeld & K-Board - The Storyteller - pads & atmos

"I bought a few months ago the #KeithMcMillen #KBoard thinking to take it with me on the road.

Didn't know entirely that this is a very interesting controller, but with a moody personality. If sometimes everything is OK with it, other times the K-Board can go crazy: buttons are not responding well (see later in video), notes are getting stuck etc, but nothing that cannot be resolved with a reset or a reconnection to the computer. And that's why I wanted to sell it a few times!

But everytime I connect the K-Board to #Blofeld or Roland JU-06, I see the great capabilities through its #Press, #Tilt, #Velo features. Especially with Blofeld, where we have a matrix of routings and this way you can blend almost perfectly with the K-Board.

In this video I'm showing a few pads and atmospheric & fx sounds from The Storyteller preset bank I made a while ago.

"This video provides an overview of the Quad VCA with some useful tips on how to use VCAs in general. The Intellijel µVCA utilizes a similar architecture, so you can take advantage of many of these features using both modules.

Quad VCA: Quad voltage controlled amplifier and cascaded mixer

The Quad VCA is a compact and feature packed module that is sure to find its way it almost all of your patches. In addition to being used for standard VCA duties it can also be used as a mixer and signal booster.

Features:

Manual LEVEL control per VCA which is convenient when using the module as a mixer or for biasing when CV modulating the VCA with a bipolar LFO.
Dedicated CV attenuators with dual color LEDs for monitoring bipolar CV signals.
Continuously adjustable response from linear to exponential per VCA.
Each CV input is normalled to the adjacent one for cascaded control.
Each output is normalled to the mix input of the adjacent one which allows you to use adjacent sets as submixes or the fourth output can be used as a master mix output when none of the other outputs are patched.
Each VCA has a boost switch that increases the output level by approximately +6dB (double)."
