Aux: Digitakt Track 1

Published on Nov 3, 2017 Benjamin Kinsman

"Been fiddling with it for a few weeks but here's the first recording with the Digitakt.
(I'm still working it out so there's quite a few stuff ups and wrong button hits)

OMG I love this thing so much!!

Song consists of 11 parts/sections with 43 different samples, via p-locks and probability events.
Main keys sequence was originally 4 tracks but re-sampled back into itself and mapped back to 1, solo synths from the OP-1.

Had a couple of Elektron boxes in the past but always found them a little overwhelming (probs because I never read the manuals and was too busy trying to integrate them with the modular), the Digitakt seems like the perfect unit that's deep but not a bottomless pit."

VGM #120: Korok Forest (Breath of the Wild) *ZELDA MONTH*

Published on Nov 3, 2017 Ace Waters

"And so it begins. Sorry this one was a little late, I had an insane weekend after finishing up the Sonic LP, and needed the extra time to get back to a place of creating. This year, I am gonna be doing a theme of sorts for Zelda Month. You will probably pick up on it pretty quick. To start off, lets go to one of my favorite tracks from BoTW (IT HAS A REAL GOOD SOUNDTRACK, MR. ERUPTION) the Korok Forest theme. I based my arrangement off the night arrangement, and kind of took it in a neon synth direction. Like a late night drive through the future. But its also a forest in a fantasy game. Anyways. Enjoy!"

Moog Sonic 6 - with Ring Mod & Bode Freq Shift - #1

Published on Nov 3, 2017 noddyspuncture

"What I've done here is put the Sonic 6 through both the Moogerfooger Ring Modulator and the Bode Frequency Shifter - and then panned them hard left and right. Headphones most definitely recommended..!! The LFO output from the Ring Modulator is also patched into the Bode's control input. The Sonic is basically playing itself via the X/Y trigger assigners and I'm varying both the effects and the Sonic's oscillator and modulation parameters... and all that is still just "scratching the surface"..! :)"

Doepfer R2M ribbon controller test with Moog Modular

Published on Nov 3, 2017 retrosynthads

"Just picked up a Doepfer R2M Ribbon Controller - first test with the Moog Modular.

R2M CV1 output is going to 901A controller, sending pitch CV to 901B modules (saw and pulse). Signal is mixed into 904 VCF module.

R2M CV2 output is sending "aftertouch" control info to VCF.

Works perfectly!"
