GLASYS - Acceptance (2019 Tiny Desk Contest)

Published on Mar 13, 2019 GLASYS

"This is an original tune called "Acceptance", and it's my submission for the 2019 NPR Tiny Desk Contest.

In this video, I control an acoustic drum kit through my Arcadia controller using 4 Polyend Perc drumming machines. Every sound you hear is performed live simultaneously, no overdubs or sequences.

Note to my subscribers: I had to re-upload this video to meet the contest's requirements. Apologies if you've already seen it.

Gear used: Sequential Prophet XL, Studio Electronics Boomstar 4075, Polyend Perc, Arcadia keyboard (custom built by Moldover).

Video by John Thompson (Ballooga Media).
Recorded at 'Dead Aunt Thelma's Studio' in Portland Oregon, engineered by Sacha Muller.
Mastered by Dana White at Specialized Mastering."
