From Reel to Web - July 29-31 Part 3 - Vintage Moog Modular on Texas TV WFAA

Published on Jul 31, 2019 SMU Jones Film

This one spotted and sent in via John L Rice: "Starts at 4:10. No sound until about 4:40. There is other political and traffic accident coverage before and after the Moog section. Moog content ends about 8:25. Keep in mind that sound is often poor quality and cuts in and out."

If anyone knows who that is in the video, feel free to comment.

Update: “That's Merrill Ellis. He's one of the first Moog customers (2 systems and later add-on's) as well as one of the first to take them out live. Pretty important guy from NTSU in Denton TX.”

Update2:

Merrill Ellis From UNT in 1974

Published on Feb 25, 2018 SMU Jones Film

"In 1974, in this small house near the UNT campus, true magic happened. That’s right: it’s Merrill Ellis & his Moog Synth! WFAA. February 5, 1974."

Blue EML Electrocomp 200 in there as well.
