Have you ever wanted to accent specific notes in your pitch sequence? This week, Frits explains how to easily do so with Compare 2.

Mult your pitch CV sequence, send one copy to your VCO and another to Compare 2's input. When the pitch CV is within your chosen window, a gate is generated. You can use this gate to, for example, open an extra VCA. This way you can create a send/return effect path that's enabled whenever the target note is hit."

"What started as a simple plan to develop our own line of patch cables, quickly became an engineering feat in typical Joranalogue fashion. Before we knew it, we were stripping cables, benchmarking crosstalk and high frequency performance, and designing our own cable testing tools.

Patch is a series of top quality patch cables for the discerning modularist, available in black and white, and a variety of lengths. Tech Thursday | Hold Modulation with Filter 8

This week's Tech Thursday is all about Filter 8's hold feature. When you enable the hold switch, Filter 8 'freezes' its filter core.

This can be gate controlled using the hold input. Turn the hold modulation up to the audio range and you'll get sync-like effects. The hold input features Schmitt action, meaning it can be driven by just about any signal you can throw at it.

Today, Boris demonstrates how to use Enhance 2 to process your mid/side channels with various effects.

Patch two slightly detuned oscillators to the stereo inputs of Enhance 2. Take your mid and side outputs and route them to different effects— in this instance Delay 1 and Fold 6. Enjoy a rich stereo sound by sending your effects' outputs back to the side and mid inputs!
