Two envelope generators
Two 4x mixers
One quad vca
One quad asr
One noise source
One vc mixer
One VCA
One sample and hold
One dual vc LFO
One utility one
One four channel buffer
One midi in voltage and gate out
One power/midi set module.
All contained in a beautiful hardwood easy to carry case. The MMM has never left the home studio, and was never exposed to smoke. It's in perfect functioning condition and cosmetic shape. What's great about this system is that it interacts with eurorack seamlessly."
"At the Winter NAMM Show, synthesist Craig Padilla was helping staff the Synthrotek booth.
Padilla gave us an overview and demo of his custom Synthrotek MST Eurorack modular synthesizer, and described some of the customizations that designer George Mattson has made for him."

Red Martian is having their album release event at the Seattle Living Computer Museum this Saturday. You might remember their recent performance there where they covered Kraftwerk. The track above was composed on Ichabod when Stephen Jones of Red Martian was helping George Mattson test Ichabod during its construction. Note Ichabod will not be at the event as it currently resides with Billy Corgan of The Smashing Pumpkins, but you are sure to see a great live performance with synths.
Video Description:
"A new album of 13 electronic pieces. The first 100 will be given away as gifts at SRGE: Arcade Armageddon September 19th, 2015 at the Living Computer Museum. Red Martian performs at 8:30pm on the main stage.

"These are just a few fun ideas using the Synthrotek MST EXPRESSOR module (designed by George Mattson) with an expression pedal. This setup allows your feet to manipulate sound while your hands are doing other things!

"One of the last and rarest keyboards from the South Florida Keyboard Collectors Estate Sale
Only 8 of these were ever made [see the update below], it is the rarest of the rare and its safe to say you will probably not see another one of these on ebay ever
Unit powers up but keyboard not functioning properly, the same note sounds for all the keys played"
Update: word is this is likely the late Mel Morley's (aka midimel's) Syntar. Also, there were more than 8 made. There was 15, 12 were completed and 3 made their way into the Mattson EML system.
"The tile for this was inspired by a thread on Gearslutz where it was proposed that pretty much all modular synth demo videos are random, noisy and non-musical garbage created with minimal effort by no talent slobs, more or less! ;-) Since this video fits well withing that paradigm . . . . ."

The MST Dual Envelope is a simple to use yet complex dual envelope generator. Channels 1 and 2 are both normalled to each other to cycle when the other respective channel hits end of cycle, allowing for really interesting ping-pong effects. Each channel also has an end-of-cycle trigger output with LED indicator. There’s a normal and inverted envelope out. The inverted envelope out can be further modified by the +5 offset switch, which allows the inverted waveform to travel in the positive. The + output level allows the envelope signal to go between zero and the maximum voltage rail. Attenuate the output level down for a more subtle envelope (adjust to taste).
Great venue. Pictured here are some bits from Ninstrument, Synthrotek, one massive wooden eurorack case, and George Mattson with the Denver Synth Meet poster.

Synthrotek is pleased to offer a complete line of eurorack synthesizer modules, power, cases and accessories in both complete units and kits. We now offer a very complete analog modular monophonic voice with many accompanying utility modules. This new complete voice is the product of a collaboration with synth guru George Mattson, who now joins us in releasing our new MST (Mattson – Synthrotek) line of premium modules. The Stereo Output Mixer was designed by Scott Rise of Division 6.
How cool is that? Steve Harmon of Synthrotek on the left and George Mattson of Mattson Mini Modular on the right. The ad reads:
"The modular systems of tomorrow are being built by you today.
Synthrotek has teamed up with George Mattson to bring you the highest in Eurorack quality. With the flexibility of factory assembled units & kits, you can now afford to make huge sound on any budget. Compromise no longer & try a MST today."
