Mystic Circuits - 0HP Vactrol LPG
Published on Oct 13, 2017 DivKidVideo
"Eli from Mystic Circuits brings is a little package of awesomeness with his new 0HP passive in line accessories for euro rack modular synths. In this video I have the 0HP Vactrol LPG (low pass gate) which sings beautifully, has a little clipping with higher/longer CV and also a mix input for passing through unaffected audio to mix with the LPG output. But as this is passive the LPG out and mix in pass through get all compressed smushed up together. What a great use of 0HP! :)"

Mystic Circuits Announces 0HP Vactrol LPG and VCA
Published on Jul 26, 2017 Mystic Circuits
"0HP Vactrol based circuits take advantage of an outdated part to rough the edges of your sound. Both the Vactrol Low Pass Gate and the Vactrol Voltage Controlled Amplifier modulate the amplitude of a signal under voltage control, but the VCA does so with minimal alteration to the sound whereas the LPG filters the sound to give it some extra oomph.
Both modules are now available at our website: http://www.mysticcircuits.com/p/0hp-m...

Mystic Circuits Warp Speak Demo
Published on Jul 2, 2017 Mystic Circuits
"I have a hand full of Circuit Bent Warp Speak Voice Changer Megaphones for sale. They feature the standard frequency shifting bend as well as control over the shifting by either an optical light sensor (which can be turned on and off) or a control voltage input with its own attenuator. I realize that in this video the CV input does not show a great example of the effect as this is because the SQ-1 an only generate 5V CV signals, the effect is much more noticeable with 10V CV signals such as what might come from your modular synth. Also there is a pair of feedback contacts and a 1/4" output. Unfortunately I only have 3 of these for sale, if you are interested in obtaining one please go through the contact form on my website www.mysticcircuits.com. Thank you earthlings!"

Spectra Mirror External Clock
Published on Nov 21, 2016 Mystic Circuits
"Here is a demonstration of the kinds of sounds that can be achieved by using an external clock with the Spectra Mirror. Wavetable oscillators and other oscillators which have CV control over their timbre make especially good external clocks as they create complex clock signals for the track and hold.
Modules used in this demo:
Mystic Circuits Spectra Mirror
Mutable Instruments Sheep Wavetable Oscillator (with Magpie Modular panel)
Whimsical Raps Mangrove Formant Oscillator"

Mystic Circuits Spectra Mirror Oscilloscope Explanation
Published on Aug 24, 2016 Mystic Circuits
"This is probably the best way to show exactly what the Spectra Mirror does to a signal. I briefly explain Track and Holds and how they differ from Sample and Holds, 'High-Pass' Sampling and how to use it in conjunction with the normal Spectra Mirror effect."

The New and Improved Spectra Mirror From Mystic Circuits
Published on Jul 14, 2016 Mystic Circuits
"Here is a demo of the final version of the Spectra Mirror which will be available in a couple of weeks. Keep your eye on http://www.mysticcircuits.com/p/spect... to see when it will be available."
"The SPECTRA MIRROR is a resonant down-sampler tailored for use as a low pass gate. Incoming audio can be completely attenuated or passed through unaffected by modulating the sampling frequency, width of the sampling clock or the on board through-zero VCA. Each control voltage input can be attenuverted, allowing the user to sculpt response to CV. The SPECTRA MIRROR is also capable of an effect called "high-pass sampling," which attenuates signals below the sampling frequency."

Mystic Circuits VERT as "stupid sound" generator
Published on Apr 29, 2016 Mystic Circuits

Mystic Circuits - VERT
Published on Jan 4, 2016 DivKidVideo
"*** I'M NOW OFFER SKYPE LESSONS ***
- Get in touch to chat about it
Had loads of fun with this one patching up some more harmonic / chordal patches to jam with and also drums. Letting the onboard counter spit out multiple gates depending on the voltage at the input is great. Rather than a simple comparator or CV level reader you can get multiple gate outputs at the same time. Which is cool for stacking drum sounds. Any questions as always - leave a comment and I'll get back to you."
Note Mystic Circuits was previously Circuit Shamen. I created a new Mystic Circuits channel label below for future posts.
