Swamp Flux The Biggest Foot: Nintendo Wii Balance Board to CV Eurorack Module
via Kickstarter
"The Biggest Foot converts wireless Bluetooth signals from the Nintendo Wii Balance Board into control voltages you can use in your Eurorack synthesizer.
The Biggest Foot can record and play back your motions at various speeds or be used live. Playback can be triggered manually or by a CV gate to the Reset input. The module is 10HP and working. Test units are being shown at Superbooth 23 and small synth meets in and around the Carolinas. It still has some bugs to work out, but they are minor enough that it's now time to ask 'would you buy this thing?'
I have spent almost a year researching and developing The Biggest Foot from concept to working prototype through generous Patreon support, but the sum of those donations is rather small compared to how much it costs to get a module manufactured at scale. Using Kickstarter, I'm hoping to launch not just a module, but a business too."

Kristofferson's Theme // Fantastic Mr. Fox (Synth Cover)
video upload by Amie Waters
"I have a patron who has been supporting for a long time and has requested this song in MANY of the patreon picks. I decided I would finally cover it, because I love it and it never gets the votes it deserves. Plus it is the most cozy song. #wesanderson #coversong"

The Nintendo NES MIDI Synthesizer
video upload by MrCaliforniaD
"I built this custom Nintendo NES MIDI synthesizer using a real Nintendo (Model NES-001) and a Famimimidi NES cartridge.
The Famimimidi NES cartridge is an incredibly well developped product that lets you control a Nintendo sound chip via MIDI IN. It's rare that such a product is released to the public in such a stable and complete state.
The cartridge is available for purchase (https://catskullelectronics.com/produ..., but it seems to be out of stock at the moment.
The challenge for this project was to fit everything in a 1U rackmount enclosure.
This project is a one-off, and I don't intend to build more of them. Not for sale. Sorry!"

General Midi Battle - QY100 vs SC88VL vs Super Nintendo!?
video upload by Avrilcadabra
"Lets compare my Seashore track on these three midi modules.
Track 'Seashore' was written on the Dirtywave M8
The bank and program selects are set so it will work on any general midi device.
I have had this Roland SC88VL for a year or so and I use it fairly often as I don't have many poly synths and it doesn't take up much space. The QY100 is a recent addition. The super Midi pak I will feature more, it just got an update to work quietly on PAL machines.
Note seems between unplugging the audio cables from the qy100 and sc88 the Left and Right got flipped.
Midi pack is from https://www.supermidipak.com/

The Super Nintendo Synthesizer with MIDI
video upload by MrCaliforniaD
"I built this custom Super Nintendo MIDI synthesizer using a real Super Nintendo (SNS-001) and a Super Midi Pak cartridge.
The Super Midi Pak cartridge is an incredibly well developped product that lets you control a Super Nintendo sound card via a MIDI I/O cartridge. It's rare that such a product is released to the public in such a stable and complete state.
The cartridge is available for purchase (www.supermidipak.com/), but there's a long waiting list for it.
The challenge for this project was to fit everything in a 1U rackmount enclosure. One of the things that had to be modified was the cartridge port angle, so that it sits parallel to the board instead of perpendicular.
The pitch adjustement knob uses a LTC1799 Precision Oscillator instead of the original crystal assigned to the audio chips. Credit for this mod goes to Sam from Look Mum No Computer. Go check out his channel if you haven't already.
This project is a one-off, and I don't intend to build more of them. Sorry!"

Fatal Decision // Star Trek: The Next Generation (Auto-Destruct Synth Cover)
video upload by Amie Waters
"We've been slowly working our way through all of Star Trek, and the second time I heard this track, in the Episode "Booby Trap" I instantly knew I had to cover it, even if only 14 people recognize or care about it in the entire world. Give it a listen, its a complete trip of a track, playing with 13/8 like it's not a big deal.
This song was featured in a total of two episodes of The Next Generation and it slaps both times:
Season 2 Episode 2: Where Silence has Lease
Season 3 Episode 6: Booby Trap"

The legend of Strymon Zelzah ( on Synthesizers! )
video upload by Avrilcadabra
“Wondered what the Strymon Zelzah sounds like on synths, lets find out
Hi Strymon sent me the Zelzah to show it on synths and things that are not guitars. It's not a review but I give some thoughts at the end. I've marked this video as a paid promotion as the pedal was at no cost to me, but I was not paid to make this video.
You can find out the specs on the Zelzah here https://www.strymon.net/product/zelzah/
Gear used
Sony Trinitron PVM
Zoom H6
Dirtywave M8
Akai Force
Behringer TD-3
Realistic Moog MG-1
Gameboy
Sega Megadrive
Strymon Zelzah
Strymon Bluesky
#strymon #zelzah
I tried to mention or show everytime I used the bluesky.
On the final clip with the Force the bluesky is on for the majority of it.
in the split stereo neutron clip, theres hall reverb from the mixer added.
Subtitles around 8 50 are meant to say it sounds more dramatic on grittier tones. My brain failed typing that one, long day.
0:00 Intro
0:11 Sega Megadrive
2:17 Moog MG-1
3:05 Gameboy
3:44 Split Stereo Neutrons

6:25 M8 Drums
7:25 TD-3
