Ring Mod & Folding is a KILLER combo // FIRST PATCH with Modrwy from Dwyfor Tech
video upload by DivKid
"I've always really liked the combination of ring modulation & wavefodling. So I was happy to get the chance to try out Modrwy from Dwyfor Tech. Dan at Dwyfor Tech continues to develop from interesting rare circuit designs and unique twists on creating design combinations and ideas that do things a bit differently. Modrwy combines a ring modulator with a softer, 2 stage (I believe) wave folder that allows you to take two inputs and create something interesting from them. In this case a pair of oscillators. Full patch notes are documented exclusively on / divkid

The Eerie Sound Of A Train Acoustics Device
video upload by HAINBACH
"Many of you have asked where I get all the obscure gear I feature here. One of the answers is: road trips. I noticed three very unique pieces of gear on classifieds (Kleinanzeigen) that peaked my interest, and got into a conversation with the seller. I travelled to Halle, and got a look into a beautiful collection. Turns out, her late uncle was an engineer at the Reichsbahn, the east German railway form before the unification of Germany. He worked on a measurement wagon for the Versuchs-u. Entwicklungstelle. In this video I will cover the absolutely massive RFT TZF Terzfilter that he used for measurements, and I now for music.

Buchla Sparkle | Music Easel
video upload by Akihiko Matsumoto
"Buchla Modular Synth Sample Pack
https://akihikomatsumoto.sellfy.store...
An inquiry into timbre shaped by the circuitry of a singular electronic instrument
A system built for exploration
Don Buchla’s electronic instruments can be understood as musical tools and as environments for exploration. They allow performers to play in a physical and expressive way, yet they also invite a method of working that resembles research into the behavior of voltage and timbre.
Buchla did not follow the conventions of keyboard based instruments. Instead he created systems in which sound could be shaped through touch sensitive controls, complex modulation, and freely arranged signal paths. As a result, each patch becomes both a performance setup and a place to investigate how tones, noise sources, control voltages and modulation can interact within an electronic space.
This sample pack carries that spirit forward through recordings made with the Buchla Music Easel Modern. It offers a survey of sonic behavior, inviting listeners to study the subtle warmth that emerges when complex oscillators interact. It highlights the characteristic percussive transients of low pass gates. It captures broadband noise shaped by minute spectral movements. It presents drones formed by slow feedback interactions and microscopic frequency shifts. The goal is to provide raw material for creators who wish to work closely with the textures that define this family of instruments."
Push your arpeggios to the next level with these four tricks
video upload by Frap Tools
"Arpeggios are fun to play but can be REALLY boring to listen to – if you want to avoid the boredom trap, try those four simple techniques that can make your arpeggios sound always interesting and fresh."
00:00 Introduction
00:23 First tip: use synchronized LFOs at different ratios to bring in other rhythmic structures
05:30 Second tip: play two different arpeggios at the same time
08:58 Third tip: play arpeggios in chord mode
11:43 Fourth tip: add a kick drum and a fake sidechain compression
14:46 Bye bye
Roland Juno 60 vs Behringer JN 80 Clone | Can the Clone Really Match the Original?
video upload by Nicolas Melis
"Roland Juno 60 vs Behringer JN 80 Clone | Can the Clone Really Match the Original?
Roland Juno-60 vs Behringer JN-80 Clone — factory presets compared side by side. I’m playing original Juno-60 patches and their recreated versions on the Behringer. Can the clone really match the original? Let me know what you think in the comments."

Portable Legendary Analog Synthesizer with 1 VCO, Classic VCF, 1 LFO and 2 Envelopes
D MINI — MINIMOOG LEGEND, POCKET POWER
The MiniMoog is the synth that built modern music — the fattest mono lead sound ever invented. The D MINI captures that DNA in a true portable analog synth you can throw in a backpack and play anywhere. This is the sound of countless hit records, now ready for the bus, the bedroom or the beach.
A single VCO offers five selectable waveforms (saw, triangle, sharktooth, square and pulse), giving you a wider sonic palette than the original.

Benjolin in a Pedal // Glou-Glou Bien Jolie ! Live Improv
video upload by Andre Bregegere
"In this session, I explore the Bien Jolie ! by Glou-Glou, a fascinating hybrid desktop effects pedal and standalone experimental synthesizer deeply inspired by Rob Hordijk's legendary Benjolin circuit.
Built around interacting analog VCOs, XOR logic, and the famous Rungler shift register, this box excels at generating unpredictable, evolving patterns, chaotic cross-modulation, and unique rhythmic textures. It brings the beautifully unstable spirit of the Benjolin into a highly tactile, semi-modular desktop format. This performance is captured entirely live and unedited, showcasing the spontaneous interaction between the internal normalized path and custom patch routings.🎛️ "
