AJH Synth MiniMod Keys // If Hans Zimmer uses these daily...

video upload by Starsky Carr

"Imagine if Moog had made the original Minimoog a modular system, we'd have something very similar to the AJHSynth Minimod Keyz... and something that sounds identical. Buckets full of warm, rich, exquisite vintage vibes in a very handy format.

It's so much more than a minimoog clone - firstly the VCOs are based on the most revered RA Moog version, then there's the addition of ring mod, HP filter, extra LFOs

Plus all the extras that the NiftyCase brings - velocity,. aftertouch, LFO, Arp, Sequencer, zoning, voice modes multi, MIDI... and a whole lot more.

and then obviously the flexibility of a modular system... wonderful :)

NiftyCase - Firmware Update

video upload by ranzee

"Step-by-step procedure in updating the Cre8Audio NiftyCase to the new USB firmware. Cre8Audio have developed a new boot loader that uses a different USB protocol (HID instead of libUSB). This new boot loader is used on our later products (Mr Phil Ter, and NiftyKEYZ) without any reported problems, and without the need for drivers on any OS. It will also be used for future NiftyCASE, Chipz and Cellz batches.

I found this update also fixed my CV Pitch 1v/Oct issue."

Introducing Capt'n BIG-O and Mr. Phil Ter by Cre8audio

video upload by Patchwerks Seattle

In this video resident expert Matthew Piecora (aka EZBOT) shares Cre8audio's newest modules: Capt 'n BIG-O and Mr. Phil Ter. Capt'n BIG-O is a fully analog oscillator built from the ground up to sound uniquely warm and huge. The oscillator also sports a wavefolder and a drive circuit, both of which you can route external signals into. Mr Phil Ter is a classic transistor ladder filter with a built in VCA and envelope generator. Along with these two new modules Cre8audio also released a two tier all wood rack stand for their popular Nifty Cases.

video upload by Cre8audio

"What if your filter module also had a VCA and an envelope generator? Would a name like Mr. Phil Ter be a good name for it? Probably not right? Well, we at Cre8audio never claimed to be marketing geniuses (except for our jerk marketing person, but we rarely listen to them).

Anyway, check out Mr. Phil Ter, or 'Phil' as we affectionately call it. It's 12hp of filter, VCA, and envelope generator for all your sound manipulation needs."

Don't BATTERY POWER your SYNTH before watching this vid! Tutorial + guide to choosing a battery

nick kwas

halo bolt: https://amzn.to/3ancSvQ
goal zero yeti: https://amzn.to/3r7Grrf
niftycase: https://amzn.to/3h1eYmH

"two steps to figure out what size battery you need:

1. figure out power consumption of your synth
-look at the synth's power supply for voltage and current (mA)
-multiply volts times current in Amps (A=milliamps/1000)
-Resulting number is the power consumption in watts
-do this for each synth you want to power

2. look at the mWh (milli watt hours) spec of the battery
-divide the number (in watts = milliwatts/1000) by the total power consumption (in watts) of your synths
-the resulting number is how many hours you can run this load for

therefore: if your synth draws, say, 30 watts, and you want to be able to run it for two hours, get a battery that provides 60 watt hours, or 60000mWh - the halo bolt is pretty close to this at 58830mWh. if you need a beefier battery, look for something with a higher mWh rating, something in the 100000mWh-200000mWh range. happy synthing :)

Also in the mix is Teenage Engineering Speak PO-35 going through an Erica Synths Black Hole DSP.

All of this mess is Sequenced by Ableton Live and by Alex’s hands.

NiftyCASE, and Chipz are apart of #NiftyBUNDLE which is available now worldwide for 269 $/€"
