Patching Panda Vibrazum // Triple Resonant Multimode Filter in Eurorack

"Here we have the very lovely triple filter 'Vibrazum' from Patching Panda (it's the "v2"). It's a single shared input into a network of mutlimode filters with independent and global control, separate and mixed outputs and CV over all the parameters. From simple characterful low pass to weird formant triple peak vocal sounds there's a tonne of range in here. Although it's not labelled as a stereo device plenty of the patch examples here are stereo, using Vibrazum to create a stereo image for FX or general synth tones. Lush triple filter & new triple VCO from Patching Panda // Superbooth 2019

"The new Vibrazum from Patching Panda is a lush triple filter with 2 filters that can be low pass or band pass and a band pass filter in the middle. You can modulate the filters in unison or with individual cut off control, resonance etc and the input has a nice amount of drive to it too. Really lovely triple peak filter sound. Holograms in the new triple analogue VCO based around the idea of a single carrier and two modulators. Like the filter there's ways to control these collectively or individual and lots of modulation potential."

Winter Modular played this jam for using their new EME (Eloquencer Midi Expander) with an Eloquencer to program in this sequence and manipulate it live. The EME allows you to sync the Eloquencer with external midi clocks, control settings and program sequences into the Eloquencer and send midi out from the Eloquencer to sequence non eurorack gear.

7. Casper Electronics OMSynth Jam SuperBooth 2019

Casper Electronics had a laboratory setup at SuperBooth 2019 and they played this quick jam for us so we could hear some of the sounds their synths are capable of. The OMSynth will soon have a eurorack version and the Dark Matter as always produced some great feedback distortion sounds.

"In this video we used the Vermona RandomRHYTHM to clock everything, the Plaits for a kick drum and Plonk as a snare. We used the Patching Panda N.V.H.S. for high hats. The vocally bass sound is made with the Patching Panda Vibrazum triple bandpass filter modulated by the Voltage Block, the Punch was used as the envelope and VCA for the bass.
