E-mu Proteus MPS Plus Demos - ROM Bank 3

video upload by Python Blue

"Finally decided to make another set of synthesizer demos. This one entails a recently acquired E-mu Proteus MPS Plus keyboard, best known as the synthesizer used in the music for Myst. To challenge myself, and to help inform others about the sound, I tried to perform as many of the unique presets as I could.

This last video of three covers the last unique ROM bank of presets, exclusive to the MPS Plus and based on the Proteus 2 instruments. With this, all of the unique presets should now be represented: the ROM 4 bank is a duplication of the RAM bank in the MPS Plus.

Hope everyone enjoys!"

E-mu Proteus MPS Plus Demos - RAM Bank 1

Bank 0 here. Additional Python Blue demos here.

This second video of three covers the one RAM bank of presets, also based very loosely on the Proteus 1 soundset. For anyone worried about losing these sounds via reinitialization, it turns out that the MPS Plus has this bank copied verbatim into ROM bank 4, similar to the Proteus XR modules."

E-mu Proteus MPS Plus Demos - ROM Bank 0

video uploaded by Python Blue

"Finally decided to make another set of synthesizer demos. This one entails a recently acquired E-mu Proteus MPS Plus keyboard, best known as the synthesizer used in the music for Myst. To challenge myself, and to help inform others about the sound, I tried to perform as many of the unique presets as I could.

This first video of three covers the first ROM bank of presets, standard for all MPS keyboards to my knowledge. A small few presets are based directly on the Proteus 1, but a large chunk of the presets are unique, in part because the MPS also has internal effect support."
