"This Elevata Synthesizer is fully working and sounds great. A small number of these were made. It comes from a smoke free home. It can be used as a desktop synth or racked."

Only one pic in this listing. You can find more in previous posts.

"Elevata is a 16-voice polyphonic, eight-part multitimbral modelling synth from UK innovators Red Sound. But with a number of virtual analogue synths available at the same price point, does the Elevata offer enough to distinguish itself? Perhaps the Elevata's single most striking feature is its, um, 'elevating' front panel. This can be used to great effect if you prefer desktop, rather than racked, operation. There are four different angles to choose from, ranging from flat against the base right up to vertical. For me, the optimum was the 65-degree setting; there was something comfortably Minimoogish about it. If you intend to rack it, the Elevata's panel should be set at right angles to its main body. It then occupies 3U of rack space, making all connectors easily accessible, unlike some desktop/rack compromises where space is wasted at the top of the unit. Angle adjustment is a simple matter of lowering the notched support arms. As these do not lock, there is a certain amount of 'play' inherent in the mechanism, and this could make it feel a little shaky if flightcased for life on the road. A generous six audio outputs are present on the rear panel, along with two audio inputs. There's also an input for the (optional) vocoder, plus the usual three MIDI ports, an external joystick port (see the 'Wizards, MIDI Control & Arpeggiation' box later in this article), a socket for the wall-wart power supply and the red On/Off button. The headphone socket is a stereo mini-jack positioned in the lower centre of the front panel."

"Unlike many other virtual analog synths, this really sounds analog! Be warned though, this is not your do-it-all -supersynth ala Access Virus / Novation Supernova, it has only modest set of internal effects and is aimed to more experienced user. If you have already functional studio, and some experience with programming analog synths, this can be your new secret weapon. Extensive modulation matrix allows creation of sounds that evolve in a way it has been common only to wavetable synthesis and very large modular systems.

Do not believe me? So check out Experimental song I did with Elevata, one patch recorded to Wavelab. Some Copypasting / flipping backwards, compression, Delay, reverb and voila, 2 minute Experimental Electronica in one and half minutes! Song is called I am lost - where is the closest Rail Bay Radio Station?"

"The eleVAta is a virtual analog poly-synth with a big analog sounds. The same DSP analog modeling synthesizer technology used in the DarkStar has been beefed up for this sound module. It is 16-voice polyphonic and has 8 multi-timbral parts.

The front panel swivels 90 degrees to facilitate rack-mounting or desktop use. Knobs are plainly laid out for the oscillator, filter, envelope, and LFO sections in a simple, streamlined and intuitive interface.

The Elevata is also upgradeable via EPROMs you can buy for a little over $100 each and install yourself. The Vocoda EPROM adds vocoder capability. There is room for up to 3 EPROMs. With multiple (6) outputs, stereo inputs for processing external audio, and full MIDI implementation

Specifications:
Polyphony - 16 voices
Oscillators - Two with square, sawtooth, sine & formant waveforms plus pink/white/blue noise
LFO - Two with ramp, triangle, square, sine, pulse, sample + hold, random waveforms.
Effects - Chorus, Flange
Filter - 12 dB/oct resonant filter, low-, high-, or band-pass modes
Keyboard - None
Memory - 127 preset, 127 user patches, 90 multi-patches with 8 programs each
Control - MIDI IN/OUT/THRU (8-parts), Joystick Controller with independent socket input"

via this auction.  Interesting design. Note how the front panel tilts flush within the gap in the rack.  There's a ribbon connector that connects it to the back of the unit.

"The Elevata is a virtual analog poly-synth with a back-to-basic's interface and big analog sounds. The same DSP analog modeling synthesizer technology used in the DarkStar has been beefed up for this sound module. The front panel swivels 90 degrees to facilitate rack-mounting or desktop use. Several hands-on knobs are plainly laid out for the oscillator, filter, envelope, and LFO sections in a simple, streamlined and intuitive interface.

It is 16-voice polyphonic and has 8 multi-timbral parts. There are two analog modeling oscillators per voice with square, sawtooth, sine & formant waveforms. The filter is a 2-pole (12dB/oct) with switchable low-, high-, or band-pass modes. There are ADSR envelopes for the filter and VCA sections and two syncable LFOs with multiple waveforms. You will also find portamento, a basic arpeggiator, chorus and flange effects, and a joystick controller assignable to any modulatable parameter. There are no reverb or delay effects unfortunately.

Every parameter has a knob or switch just a hand-grab away, so creating sounds is quick and easy on the Elevata. The Sound Wizard is a cool function that randomizes various parameters. This allows you to experiment with creating random sounds, hopefully leading to some happy accidents! Your custom creations can be stored in any of 127 user patches. There are also 127 preset patches and 90 multi-patches (aka performances). The Multi-patches can have up to eight different patches for creating some very lush arrangements."

via the seller: "I tried out several very cool analogish sounds. It reminded me of a Roland Juno 60 meets an Arp Odyssey. I hope this rare limited production run of 250 Elevata goes to the right person, someone who knows what this baby can do and how it works."

I played a Darkstar and it did remind me a bit of a Juno-60, but a bit dry sounding if that makes any sense. Not so much an ARP Odyssey. The Elevata is a different synth though. I forget if the engine was based on the Darkstar or if it was a complete re-write like the Nord Lead 3 vs. the Nord Lead 1 and 2.
