via this auction

"The Roland HS-60 is IDENTICAL to the Juno 106 but it has onboard speakers, HOW COOL! Same circuit boards, voice chips, everything. You've heard it and you know how good they sounds and now you need it in your arsenal. Super lush, deep strings, sweeps, filters, effects, organs, AND it is fully equipped with midi so you can run it with your modern digital setup. This one is made in May of 1985.

Its in nice shape with next to no wear. The 80's graphics look fantastic. There is a little wear here an there but nothing much. You can see from the pictures how clean it is. There are no scratchy pots for they have been cleaned. All of the black coating was removed from all voice chips and sound fantastic. New blue LED's, because they look awesome. The numeric display, the "A" preset LED and one of the chorus' were kept red. I think it looks cooler with a mix of both colors. The original battery has been replaced with a new one and a socket so if the battery ever goes out, just pull the battery and pop a new one in. The 2-prong power socket has been updated to a universal 3-prong socket. This one is road ready and needing to see some stage and studio action."

Roland Alpha Juno | 64 New Original Patches | Synth-pop Synthwave and Italo Disco

Published on Jun 13, 2019 Espen Kraft

"64 original awesome patches for anything retro synth related. Pads, strings, basses, sweeps. bells and much more. All organized into banks of 8.
Full compatibility with Alpha Juno 1, 2, MKS-50 and HS-80.

Buy the patches here:
https://thepatchbay.co.uk/product/rol...

Or contact me at espenkraft69@gmail.com if you want to buy from me directly.

Full tutorial on how to transfer the patches to your Alpha Juno is included in the demo video. I also show how to backup your existing soundbank before loading in mine.

I use Bome SendSX for SYSEX transfering data between my synths and the computer. You can find that here:
https://www.bome.com/products/sendsx

For MAC I believe Sysex librarian will work. Find that here:
https://www.snoize.com/SysExLibrarian/

I use a bit of external reverb on some of the sounds in the demo. No external chorus has been used, it's all the internal chorus of the Alpha Juno."

Update: video posted here.

"Alpha Editor is an editor and patch library app for the Roland Alpha Juno synthesiser family. It provides direct access to all of the Alpha Juno’s patch parameters through a clear and reactive touch based interface.

Alpha Editor is a MIDI based app; it uses MIDI to communicate with your Alpha Juno. In order to do so, it requires a coreMIDI compatible adaptor or a connection to a Mac or PC that provides MIDI capabilities.

MySynthFetish HS80 Select Patches

Published on Apr 19, 2015 The Outsider

"This video offers a preview 14 of the 64 sounds I programmed for the Roland HS-80, although they are compatible with the Alpha-Juno 2 and MKS-50.

(The sysex is available via the link at the end of this description)

Crappily improvised live, recorded into Logic Pro X through Mackie Onyx 1602i mixer, with a bit of effects from a Sony HR-MP5. Yeah, yeah, I know, I know. Look, I programmed the sounds dry, but 90% of the time play with effects on my sounds because: Yes, you do. And, I thought of playing all 64 sounds, but after the first few I realized I was already past 5 minutes, so... 14 will do.

The story behind this particular HS-80 is a rather interesting one, and can be found here:
Part 1: http://mysynthfetish.tumblr.com/post/...
Part 2: http://mysynthfetish.tumblr.com/post/...
Part 3: http://mysynthfetish.tumblr.com/post/...

Patches used:
1-1 GrowlyBass. Pretty much what the name implies.
1-2 Muster. Inspired by Das Muster (who is a JU-2 genius).
1-3 LongPWMpad. No surprises here. Long. PWM. Pad.
1-5 SickStrings. Typical Juno strings, but with seasickness.
1-6 Brass Swell. Though not all that brassy. Low notes are nice.
1-8 PolySynth3. Common 80s polysynth sound? Hmm. Ok.
2-1 ScubaSweep. Inverted envelope trickery.
2-4 DarkFuture. Late 70s Sci-Fi feeling? Brassy? Ominous.
2-5 StepSeqMe. Quick, sharp sound in need of sequencing.
2-6 WeirdNoise. Noisy, resonant weirdness.
2-8 ChoiKowai. Means "A bit scary" in Japanese. Very modulated.
5-3 Zukunft3. Step sequence sound?
5-4 Zukunft4. Low pad filter sweep-ish sound?
5-5 BldRnrBras. Might make Vangelis happy. Maybe.

5-3 and 5-4 are modeled after sounds in Anthony Rother's track Zukunft off the excellent LP Netzwerk Der Zukunft.

Roland HS-10 with MKS-80 VCF

via this auction

"It's basically a redesigned version of the famous JUNO 1. This is a nice analog synth that is not too big or heavy. It weighs 11 lbs and has 49 keys and features a warm sounding analog filter, the same one used on the later revision of the famous super jupiter rack, known for its signature clean and tight bass. The 'brilliance' parameter creates a very nice filter sweeping effect, and the alpha dial allows for easy editing. There's a 'chord memory' feature which I could not get to work (it lights up and I think I'm using it right) - which seems to be this synths only functional drawback. The volume slider is incredibly smooth given it's age, and the LCD backlight is still very functional. You can get great quality sounds out of the HS-10 and I believe it's a worthy synth to use as a main analog board, or to expand upon an existing collection."

The filter chip is the IR3I05 used in the MKS-80 rev 2, JX-8P, JX-10 and MKS-70 (see analog.no for Roland ICs). The MKS-80 rev 1 and Jupiter-6 used the IR3109 along with the Juno-6, Juno-60, JX-3P, and Jupiter-4. Also see this post on the JX-3P & MKS-30 filters.
