Elements Synthesizer External Input with Yamaha MR10 Drum Machine

"I was asked by viewers on my Facebook account to post up a video of a picture that I took with a Yamaha MR10 Analogue Drum Machine plugged into the Elements Synthesizer External Audio Input. Initially, you will here the drum machine being filtered, and some spring reverb applied as well as using the dynamic Tape Delay Simulator at various setting. After some time I switch the routing of the External Input Amp to the Ring Modulator- that signal now being modulated by Oscillator 2...I've done this video because I am know cleaning up for a mega build. Yes, I'm building them myself!"

"The drums sound clear and loud, and the buttons, knobs and lights are all immediately responsive. The pads are good for the most part, but I do get some double triggers from them at times.

The battery compartment is clean, and the MR10 will run off of 6 AA batteries or the appropriate power supply (9V - 12V DC, tip positive). However, neither power source is included in the sale, so you'll have to make provisions to power the unit..."

"Sounds and samples from this ancient (i.e. early 1980's) non-midi, non-syncable drum machine made by Yamaha. You can play the pads on the front, but they are very plastic feeling, on-off type buttons with no velocity."

"Vintage analogue drum machine. Plays a series of presets of you can play the individual drums using the five pads. You can adjust tempo, tuning, bass drum volume and cymbal volume. Item is in good condition besides some residual sticker damage on the bottom of the unit and a small mark on the cymbal volume pot. Runs on batteries or the included (non original) 230V power supply. This is very cute 5 pad analogue drum machine .This item for sale is very clean just normal wear and tear.100% working order but trigger pad for the bass drum is sometimes too sensitive and the snare drum also triggers the High tom (see the youtube video)
Trigger pads for bass drum /snare/High tom/ low tom /cymbal .Separate adjustable volume for Bass drum and cymbals . Tuning for toms and cymbals. 12 patterns with variations 4bar/ 8bar .
This would be the perfect machine for circuit bending as it runs off batteries .
